5 Easy Halloween Costumes for 2020
Halloween 2020
I can’t wait for Halloween this year!! While this year will look very different, I still think any excuse to dress up is a good excuse! I have a variety of low key and more complicated costumes depending on your situation. I personally will be out of town and celebrating with my bff. If you are still trying to look good on Oct 31, keep reading to find my favorite costume recommendations!
Sandy from Grease
Although I’m no blonde, I absolutely loved dressing as Sandy from Grease. I just need my Danny to complete the look 😉 This outfit is SO easy to create using Spanx leggings, a cropped black top, and your favorite leather jacket. To finalize the look, add some booties (ideally red) and use a small curling iron for maximum curls. This was also my cheapest outfit since I had most of the items to begin with!
80s Workout Girl
This costume was SO fun and my Halloween look of 2019!! To achieve this outfit, I wore a neon swimsuit (leotards look great too) and some bright tights and leg warmers. I also slept in braids the night before to achieve a good wave in my hair! To complete the look, I added some brighter makeup and really had fun with my personality and workout moves. If you end up outside this year, just add a windbreaker and you’re set!
Oops I Did it Again
Queen Britney is in the house now!! I was totally inspired by the Oops I did it Again music video in this next look. I absolutely love this bodysuit and the hair was rather simple to recreate. Just flat iron your hair and pin some bangs to one side. To complete the look, add some frosty eye shadow and sing along to the song!!
Harley Davidson
I am thrilled for my first of two Halloween costumes for this year! To kick the weekend off, I will be wearing this Harley Davidson tee 🤩 The full costume will be visible on Instagram later this month but one style option is leather pants and combat boots. I like this understated outfit for a 2020 Halloween because you feel dressed up without having to go all out. To finalize the look, add some orange eyeshadow and a vampy lip!
Alien
Finally we have my Halloween 2020 costume, an alien!! The full look will be posted later this month to Instagram but for now, here’s a sneak peek. With this costume, I love the silver and glitter. To remain out of this world, just add space buns and a choker or alien gun. Remember, costumes should always be personal and accessorize how you’d like!
Happy Halloween
Let me know which costume was your favorite!! I love how each look turned out, I had the best time coming up with these costumes and styling them. This year, be sure to add a fun mask and be safe. Also, if you’re going out this year comment your costume!
Best,
Lauren
