5 Easy Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
One of the greatest holidays is almost here!! THANKSGIVINGGGG 🦃 I mean, whoever decided to devote a holiday to eating was a genius! This year, I will also be trying out a Friendsgiving with some of my girls. Stay tuned to my Instagram to watch live updates on the cooking and festivities!
Before I show you my 5 favorite looks for Thanksgiving, do check out Fashionably Frank, a lifestyle blog run by my good friend Kathryn! You can also find them on Instagram and Pinterest. Her and her friend Emma co-run the website and they are all about travel, fashion, and fun! For their page, I wrote a special post with 6 more outfits!!
If you came from Kathryn’s page, hello! My name is Lauren and I am a college fashion blogger who loves dressing nice while remaining casual. Now, let’s get into these outfits!
I absolutely love any outfit with a duster! They are the perfect layering piece for any season and instantly elevates any outfit. I like to keep the look fairly simple with the black and white, but there is definitely room to add a fun accessory like I did with these shoes! Overall, I think this outfit is perfect for a dressier Thanksgiving, it’s chic but still comfortable; because who isn’t comfortable in leggings??
There is no greater outfit than an outfit with over the knee boots. I’m sorry I just don’t make the rules! This pair in particular goes so well with my leather skirt and just screams fall to me!! I also love adding a chunky sweater to the outfit, especially when it’s halfway tucked in. The oversized feel balances out the tight shoes and looks so chic. I might just wear this one to Friendsgiving; for my hosts, this is the ideal look!!
Can we even have a Lauren post without some leather?? I think not! I love this leather jacket over a cozy sweater. I think the oatmeal color looks so cute with all of the black, it’s my version of a pop of color 😂To tie the look together, use a leather bootie to go with the jacket. The textured knit and denim break the outfit up enough to bring in some interest and the neutrals just scream fall to me!
This season I decided to branch out and try a sweater and midi skirt! This outfit is so comfy and cozy, if you are meeting potential in-laws or trying to dress up a little bit, this is the dream look! Plus, who doesn’t want some animal print on a Thursday?
My casual girls I did not forget about you!! I think leggings are the true key to a successful Thanksgiving. You can eat as much as you like and the pants just grow with you!! To keep the look stylish, just add in browns and golds. These fall colors are appropriate for the season and just cute details overall! I honestly will probably wear something like this on the real Thanksgiving 😂
Before we go, I gotta give a shout out to Sarah Roberts for the gorgeous pictures! I hope you found some inspiration for your Thanksgiving! Tag me on Instagram if you recreate any of these looks!!! Till next time…
XOXO,
Lauren
