5 Loungewear Items for 2021
Loungewear Inspiration
As the world continues to stay indoors with both the cold weather and shelter in place orders, I have been living in loungewear! From matching sets to pajamas and sweatshirts, now is the best time to invest in your loungewear. I now work from home 3 days a week and I just live in my lounge pieces. If you are in a similar boat, keep reading to see which items need to go right into your cart!
Simple Pajama Set
I don’t know about you, but I love a simple pajama set for the winter. Whether I am wearing it to bed or to simply lounge around at home, this particular set from Target is a recent go-to. I like how it’s fairly thin and the top could honestly work for just everyday. My key with pajamas like this is to size up, that way they cover a little bit more and are just easier to sleep in. Plus, with the shorts and tee length, you can layer up the blankets for bed without risking an overheated situation!
Velour Sweat Set
Well, the early 2000s trends are back again! While I will fight the resurgence of low rise jeans, I have always been here for the velour tracksuits. From Juicy Couture to the Skims set I personally own, you cannot go wrong with this super soft material. I think for 2021, modernize the look with some great neutrals and let the texture really shine! If you want to wear them out, pair them with a combat boot or chunky sneaker. By incorporating modern trends and colors, you can really turn a classic set into something made for the new decade!
Wide pants
Another fun lounge option is lounge pants! The wider the leg the better from my experience. Most often you find these pants in a ribbed material which I find to be super comfortable. I found this pair at target and think they are great with a sweatshirt at home, or paired with a bodysuit for your next adventure. If you want to be extra, Nordstrom has some great lounge pants and matching tanks!
Matching Sweat Set
In the last year or so, I have really fallen in love with matching sets. They are a great way to look polished without sacrificing comfort. Another great thing about a matching set is if you go the more inexpensive route, they still can look expensive due to the cohesion. Here I got another set from Target that I absolutely love. The all black is so classic and the inside fleece is unmatched! I still see it available in stores and I bought my set a few months back. Still wear it all the time though, so it was worth every penny!
Graphic Sweatshirts
Finally we have the graphic sweatshirt. Oftentimes reminiscent of the 90s, I love a fun sweatshirt with a logo. I personally picked this one up from Flip Fit and I couldn’t be happier. It’s so soft and the simple graphic is too cute. To bring the piece into everyday, just pair with straight leg jeans and a white shoe! You’ll be comfortable all day and look amazing.
