Early June 2021 Outfits
First Week of June 2021
Early June is always a big time for my family! My mom and grandpa were born June 1st, and my parents got married the same day in 1996!! While I would never share an anniversary with my birthday, it works for them so there is usually a ton to celebrate. This year, we were really able to spend time as a family so we soaked in dinners and a surprise party for my mom. To add to the festivities, my sister came into town as well so it was a whole hootenanny. Keep reading to see what I wore throughout the fun week!
Monday Outfit 05/31
Today was my moving day! I packed myself up from my hometown and moved to Tacoma, WA with my best friend from college. In honor of the new space, I had to take some pictures and start off the weeks content. Over the prior weekend, I took a break from social media and did get behind on my usual routine. This came after a difficult ending of a meaningful relationship in my life and I wanted some private time in all honesty. I don’t normally allow myself time to feel my emotions and have time for myself but it was much needed.
As to this outfit, I absolutely love this Amazon lounge set! I did size up for extra coziness and I think this style overall is so cute. At under $40, this lounge look is perfect for summer and I am already living in it this season! Because let’s be real, who doesn’t want to end the day in something comfortable??
Tuesday Outfit 06/01
Now I did mix up some of my dates from Instagram but I like this photograph going on June 1st. I shared a fun travel look from my trip to Portland (more on that coming soon) and I love how it turned out. We spent the first day exploring Nob Hill and trying out all the food. I wanted to be casual yet stylish so I opted for my favorite Free People jacket, as well as mom jeans and a ton of jewelry. I don’t believe you can wear too many accessories so I piled them on this day. When traveling anywhere, always dress toward the area you are visiting but don’t forget to add your own personal touches to create something unique to you!
Wednesday Outfit 06/02
For Wednesday’s look, I went for camp vibes and shared my new favorite tee. I love this childish print and the camp inspired trend is so fun to me! While I wasn’t the biggest camper growing up, I am drawn to the colors and it went well with my latest s’mores obsession. Each night, my roommates and I have had s’mores after dinner and it’s been the perfect way to bond! I look forward to more nights on the deck as summer continues on, it’s seriously the perfect way to end a day.
Saturday Outfit 06/05
On Saturday, we got to surprise my mom for her birthday! Our dad sent us out for the day and pulled off a great surprise for her. She was so shocked it was cute to see! For the party, I wanted to be cute yet look like my normal self since we were surprising her. This meant a simple ribbed bodysuit with my favorite jacket and jeans. Sometimes less really is more!
Sunday Outfit 06/06
To end the week, I went with my favorite comfy pieces! I had to try a new pair of leggings to further my hunt for the best Lululemon dupe. This pair from Nordstrom is quite good but definitely is a Zella pair and not a pair of aligns. I then styled it with my favorite tank, the Lemedy option from Amazon! It’s incredibly comfortable and comes in a whole host of colors. So far I have it in white and pink and may get more as the season continues!
