Midsize Friendly Fall Outfit Ideas
The first week of fall is here! I spent this week traveling and preparing to move to Eastern Washington! While it has been a crazy past 7 days, I have made sure to still play around with my wardrobe and try a few different seasonal outfits. From pumpkin patch outfits to travel friendly looks, this week has it all!
Leather Leggings Outfit for Travel
I know leather Spanx sounds absurd for a road trip but they are a surprisingly comfortable pant! I have my true size M and they are so comfortable. I find them to have just enough stretch to move around easily yet they suck you right in like any other Spanx. To make the outfit simple for work to dinner, I added a black tank, my favorite shacket and white sneakers. You cannot go wrong with this combo!
Yoga Pants Travel Outfit
As Y2K remains strong in pop culture, I think now is a great time to break out the yoga pants or as they are currently called, flared leggings. I got mine a few years ago from Nordstrom and they are surprisingly comfortable and easy to style. I like wearing mine for the fall with a big band tee and those same comfortable sneakers. You cannot go wrong with cozy basics like this, there is a reason they come back year after year!
Washington State Fair Outfit
Halfway through the week I went to the Washington State Fair and wore this comfortable and casual outfit! I absolutely love these boyfriend jeans, they are super comfortable for everyday wear and the distressing is just too good. I wanted to make the pants the focal point of the outfit so I added a white bodysuit, a brown bum bag and white sneakers. Nothing beats an outfit like this when walking around and snacking!
Cargo Pants Outfit
One pair of pants I wasn’t expecting to love so much were these cargo pants from Abercrombie! They are so comfortable and look great with basic black tanks. You can always layer them with sweatshirts or get crazy and add a corset top. For my fellow midsize girls, consider ordering these a size up. I initially tried my true size and they were just a hair too tight. I always like things to be loose and easy to move around in.
Pumpkin Patch Outfit
To end the week I went to the pumpkin patch! I actually had this adorable dress from Amazon to wear, it was oddly perfect. To make it more casual and farm appropriate, I added my favorite platform boots. I’ve had this pair for a few years now and they are so versatile. Whether I want to wear a dress like I did above or some wide leg jeans, these boots are going to look good either way.
