Melting Over Luxury

Each year, I try and make it to the Melting Pot. I LOVE cheese and bread, so this restaurant really caters to my needs 🤣 It is also a somewhat fancy restaurant and this time around, I wanted to dress a little extra! Thus, I decided to break out my Gucci belt which was a purchase I made back in Florence last fall. Growing up, I've always wanted designer items. I remember looking through Vogue and wishing I could inherit beautiful pieces costing hundreds of dollars, just like the people in the magazine. Finally, on my ONLY day alone in Florence, I decided I would treat myself to this belt. I loved how the brand was created in Flo and the incredible Italian leather was the perfect souvenir. I also love the gold G's and its ability to be dressed up and down.

As for the rest of the look, I decided to focus on the black in the belt and stick to a simple tank and nice plain heels. I then dressed everything down with the mom jeans. Although my mom thinks they are hideous, I personally love the color and baggy fit. They also balance out beautiful trenches like the one above and when I roll them up, they just feel effortless. Either way, they are definitely a staple in my wardrobe!
