Pre Fall Outfits of the Week | September 2022
Fall Transitional Outfits of the Week
In the Pacific Northwest, we are slowly moving from summer to fall. Temperatures are beginning to dip and I think we had our last hot day over the weekend. While smoke is rolling in from forest fires, we still need to get dressed so here are my pre-fall outfits of the week. By the way, everything is midsize friendly and some of these outfits were worn on a trip!
Road Trip Outfit
Our first outfit of the day is a workout tank and shorts paired with a lightweight button down. I wore this outfit to tour apartments in my college town and felt very comfortable. The key is to pair a similar tank and short together to give the illusion of a onesie. My pieces were Lululemon aligns and were incredibly soft. Plus, they are the same color and material so they blend together rather nicely!
Graphic Sweatshirt Outfit
Our next outfit is a cozy oversized graphic sweatshirt. I love the ribbed material and its rather cozy for this transitional period. In the fall and winter, I wear a lot of outfits like this since I’m a huge fan of sweatshirts. For a more casual day like my first day back at work, I just added leggings and a pair of sneakers. Of course you could dress it up with a skirt or go for something everyday by adding denim. Either way you cannot go wrong with a fun piece like this!
Quarter Zip Sweatshirt Outfit
I told you I wear a lot of sweatshirts! As I continued through the week I wanted to try my new Lululemon dupe. I will be honest, I will spend a lot on the align line at Lulu but I won’t invest in the sweatshirts. Fortunately Amazon has a lookalike that is super soft and works as a great layering piece. For moms in particular you are going to like this.
Fall Graphic Tee Outfit
Toward the end of the week I had to style a new graphic tee from Amazon. This piece is softer than any tee I’ve tried from Amazon and it fits like a dream if you order a size up. I wore it this time around with biker shorts and sandals but you could always style it with jeans and boots. I think it’ll also work well under jean jackets as temperatures continue to dip.
Oversized Graphic Tee Outfit
This is my second and last skeleton tee! I absolutely love this one from Urban Outfitters, it’s incredibly comfortable and its long enough to wear as a dress around the house. For the public, I like adding biker shorts and wearing the shirt nice and loose. It was also perfect for running errands, I was able to grab anything I needed and it felt spooky season appropriate.
Have a Stylish Week
I hope these outfits helped you shape your upcoming week! I adore styling fall pieces as the leaves start to turn and temperatures dip. I also think if you opt for shorter sleeved options you can get a lot of wear because they work great alone or layered under jackets. Until next time,
