Thanksgiving Week Outfits | November 2022

Long Weekend outfits

Thanksgiving 2022 has come and gone and with the holiday came a trip back to my hometown! I kept my suitcase rather light this trip so expect to see several recycled outfits. Nonetheless thats the beauty of fashion, you are supposed to wear things more than once! I always try to purchase basics so I can rewear them time and again. Now, to see my outfits, keep on reading!

Chunky Sweater Outfit

We are kicking off the week at home with a coffee adventure with fellow fashion blogger Shannon! For this coffee run I wore my new sweater from NanaMacs, it was the perfect piece! I love how oversized it is and it paired nicely with my favorite wide leg jeans. When wearing looser pieces together like this, remember to do a little tuck to create a waist. It just looks chicer and you’ll feel a bit more put together.

Airport Outfit

By the middle of the week it was time to head to the airport and fly back to Olympia! I personally wore my new favorite puffer from H&M with some Spanx leggings and a big hoodie from Abercrombie. I love the combination now of dark brown and black, it’s so chic and a great way to bring brown into the winter season. I also like this outfit for travel because it’s cozy, you can sit and move around easily in the leggings plus the layers allow for extra room in your suitcase!

Black Friday outfit

Let’s be honest my black Friday shopping outfit isn’t far off from my travel outfit. The only difference is adding regular leggings and removing the jacket. Honestly less is more for power shopping, I found myself getting a bit sweaty at a few points and the hot tea I drank didn’t help my case! If you are a black clothing fan like me though, I cannot recommend the black on black look enough for this capitalistic holiday.

Christmas Tree Hunting outfit

As the weekend quickly came about, it was time to throw on my Christmas tree hunting outfit! It was starting to sprinkle at the farm so I’m glad I went with my new favorite puffer and a simple bodysuit. To stay on trend this year, consider some straight legged jeans and fitted tops like this mockneck. It will keep you warm and its great for layering with everything in your closet!

Wedding dress shopping

Finally it was time to find my best friend a wedding dress so I went with another simple black and brown outfit! This time around I wanted to be a little bit elevated so I wore the same Spanx as before with the black bodysuit and brown puffer. It was so comfortable and the leggings gave the perfect sheen to balance out the top. As an added bonus I coordinated with the bride to be and you can’t really get better than that!

Have a Stylish Week

I hope these outfits inspired your upcoming week! With holiday festivities just around the corner I cannot wait to experiment further with my wardrobe these next several weeks. I also hope you liked these more or less recycled looks, while I love testing out trends I do value rewearing and keeping pieces for years and years. Fashion is supposed to be a personal expression and the more you play around with your look the better!

Until next time,

Lauren
