Top 3 Brunch Spots in Spokane Valley, WA
3 Brunch Spots to Visit in Spokane Valley, WA
Looking for the best brunch in Greater Spokane? You have come to the right place! As a Spokane Valley resident myself, I gotta say we have the best brunches in the area by far. When it comes to brunch, I am someone that looks for value, size, and classic dishes. The following spots hit the mark on all 3 for me plus there are some fan favorites here as well. Brunch is an incredibly popular topic in town so I’m here to provide the best of the best!
1: Cottage Cafe
Located at 6902 E Appleway Blvd, Spokane Valley, WA 99212
This is by and large the most popular brunch spot in Spokane Valley and quite frankly Spokane. I got an overwhelming number of people recommending this place and telling me it’s their favorite. I gotta say they weren’t wrong. While the wait time can be a little long, the quality of the food and the price certainly make up for it. I personally enjoy the biscuits and eggs Benedict. Plus the hash browns are a delight which is very important to me.
If you’re looking to have leftovers, be sure to order a full serving size of whatever you end up getting. The portions are huge and the menu is full of traditional brunch fare. I am always keen on classic dishes that I know will be good. I hate new age breakfasts that don’t taste like a grandmothers kitchen.
Pro Tip: If you come with a baby, they have equipment for that! I visited with my friends little baby (she was around 3 months old) and they had a spot for the car seat and everything. The staff is very thoughtful and made the experience a breeze!
2: Jenny’s Cafe
Located at 9425 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99206
Call me crazy but I personally rank Jenny’s slightly higher than Cottage only because they do unlimited hash browns. That is one food I do NOT play with and having an abundance of potatoes is very important to me. I also loved the aesthetic of this place, it’s super cute and feels like a cool. grandmas home. Other perks of the space are their delightful coffees. I was so pleasantly surprised with the size and the flavors were great!
When you come, I recommend the smothered hash. Is it the healthiest thing? No, but thats the point of a good brunch. I always go for the community and memories. I like bringing my friends out to catch up on the latest adventures and nothing bonds people quite like food. Plus this spot will have you full for HOURS, you probably won’t need anything until dinner!
3: Crimson Door
Located at 11003 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99206
My third favorite brunch spot in Spokane Valley is the Crimson Door! Located just blocks from the Crimson door, this is another staple in the area. Another fan favorite, everything is fresh and inspired. Providing everything from the sweet to the savory, this is a good place if you enjoy a dessert for breakfast. They have the loveliest beignets and crepes plus delicious hash browns (sensing a theme?) The atmosphere in here is fun too, it’s cozy, a little moody and great for meeting with friends and family.
I also enjoy how they have a private upstairs area for special events! I am passionate about creating memories and experiences and this could be fun for a birthday party or a shower. The staff are super kind too it’s a great place to visit again and again.
Enjoy your Meals!
I hope this inspires your next trip to the Valley! Whether you live out here, just moved to the area or you’re visiting, Spokane Valley is a quiet giant for brunch. An honorable mention for this list is Little Euro, part of the Old European family. They have wonderful coffee and dishes plus options available for those with dietary restrictions. I am super proud to highlight my back yard and if you live in Spokane proper, these are 3 spots worth the drive out!
Until next time,
