Happy new year friends! I am so excited for 2025 and have a good feeling about this upcoming year. As we head into the new, I figured it would be great to look to the old and share the 11 Amazon finds that really made my year. This year I shopped a TON from Amazon as it’s been an affordable option. Whether you need something to elevate your current style or looking to refresh your space, I’m rounding up my top 11 midsize fashion, beauty and home finds from 2024.

Lace Long Sleeve
This first find was something I was initially influenced to purchase from social media but honestly it’s been such a treat for my wardrobe. In 2024, I finally discovered my personal style and which outfits sparked joy in my heart. Prior to this year I didn’t really experiment with what I wore and instead really gravitated toward basics. It was high time I mixed that up and lace long sleeves were the perfect way to do that.
Pro tip: you don’t have to just wear these under shirts! While these look amazing under tees and sweaters, I also like wearing these over basic tanks in the warmer months for a bit of an unexpected look. I really enjoyed wearing the long sleeve over a plain tank with shorts and sneakers on the bottom. It gave an overall cool girl vibe and felt natural to what my style is becoming.
Statement Blue Light Glasses
One of my best purchases of 2024 was my pair of bold blue light glasses. I snagged a cobalt shade that makes a huge statement and fun fact my boyfriend swiped right on me because of them! Coming in a whole host of colors, these glasses get compliments both in person and online. They’ve been incredible while I’ve worked from home this year and they add a cool flair to any outfit.
Pro tip: consider wearing these glasses with a cool toned outfit. Think a monochromatic blue look or a simple groutfit. Either way you want overall cohesion in your outfit to still look cool and effortless while also providing some funk.
Cheetah Jeans
I discovered these jeans back in the spring and I’m so glad I snagged them because they became a huge trend in the fall. After trying on several pairs I fell in love with this particular baggy option that has totally elevated my style in 2024. If you want to give your outfit some instant personality, just throw those jeans on and you’re good to go. I love wearing them with anything from a band tee to bodysuits and sweaters. These are jeans that can take you all year round and I think of them as a neutral at this point.
Pro Tip: include unexpected pieces like this in your wardrobe. It adds the best elevation to an outfit and I feel like with pants like this I’m finally finding my personal style. Whether I’m going for an all warm toned outfit or getting creative with cool tones mixed in, I feel instantly dressed up even though I’m wearing jeans. As a bonus tip, since these are pretty baggy they’re easy to layer leggings under for extra warmth in the winter.
Barrel Jeans
2024 was the year I really allowed myself to experiment with fashion and try shapes and styles I never tried before. As a midsize gal, I used to lean into basics and neutrals that I thought would compliment my figure. The older I’m becoming however I’ve realized life is too short to live like that and I may as well have fun with cool outfits that I admire. I have quite the personality as you can imagine and for so long my appearance didn’t reflect that. Now I want to live a life where you can see me as a person before I even open my mouth. These jeans do just that, they’re voluminous, loud and SO comfortable. I’ve been wearing them on repeat with bodysuits, sweaters and booties. It’s turning into a wardrobe staple for me and for the price it’s a fantastic quality that will look great year round.
carhartt tee
Earlier this year I tried my first Carhartt tee and I was instantly hooked. These pieces are an incredible quality as they drape beautifully and are so thick and nice. Considering the price you would think they would be thin but alas these shirts are made to last. I also love the western edge they provide. I live in Eastern WA where the overall vibes are a bit more rural so a piece like this fits in well with my day to day plus it looks super cute with a skirt or more feminine elements. Since this is a mens shirt, the key to a cool outfit is to style it with girly items.
Pro tip: I would go one size up in mens instead of 2. I got a XL in the black version and I almost swim in it! While I don’t hate that, I think the large ultimately fits me best. I also loved this shirt so much I ended up getting a white version as well. These neutrals pair rather well with my more eccentric statement pieces and give an overall cool girl vibe that will go nicely into 2025.

This past year became my year for pajama sets. I started dating my boyfriend in April and since we started dating we have been traveling a ton as a couple and with his family. With that said, I figured it was high time I added some nice pajamas into the mix so I felt put together around everyone. Enter this amazing satin pajama set that is affordable yet looks designer. This particular pair is super comfortable and I sleep like a baby every time I wear them. These are also great for business trips since they are again a bit more elevated and still add a nice personality to sleepwear.
Strapless Ribbed Dress
One of my favorite special occasion dresses this year was certainly my pink ribbed maxi dress. It made me feel SO beautiful and worked for so many different occasions. I wore this to a baby shower, to a concert and to an event! With the strapless design it was a bit out of my comfort zone but honestly it didn’t really fall down. Coming in a ton of colors, this was certainly a best seller of the year and something I can see myself wearing again in 2025.
Pro Tip: this dress is pretty easy to dress up and down depending on the occasion! I love dressing it up with heels for a fancier occasion yet its perfect with a sneaker for something more lowkey. I do recommend adding a blazer if you are wearing this to a business function but for a night out you are going to feel amazing in this.
Platform mini boots
Our final fashion find has to be these super cozy platform boots. They are my lookalikes for the Ugg platforms but I feel far less guilty wearing these out in the inclement weather. As a Washington State based creator I am always looking for clothes that are fun, trendy and functional in my area. These certainly fit the bill and add a fun punch to any outfit. Lately I have worn these to everything from girls nights to the gym ahead of workout classes. I also like how you can easily dress them up or down depending on styling. Since we are in winter, I have worn mine a lot with jeans or leggings and big sweatshirts or sweaters.
Pro Tip: to dress these up, consider a mini skirt and sweater combination. I also like wearing these boots with shorts and a tall pair of girly socks. When it comes to fall and winter you really can’t beat boots like this. Especially with the platform, it keeps your feet dry and you don’t ruin the suede as easily!

As much as I love fashion, I have grown to love makeup and skincare almost as much this past year. Getting into a solid skincare routine has helped me feel so confident when it comes to no makeup days and I think it has made my everyday makeup look a lot better overall. I’m now getting compliments on how glowy and nice my skin is and I love it! A huge part of that has been my daily use of Tula under eye brightener. I used to have dark circles but they have vanished with the Rose Glow and Get it. It’s a cooling brightener which feels amazing in the morning and it helps me look awake even on days I am not wearing much makeup. Seriously a 10/10 find!

Our last beauty find was a purchase I made during Prime Days over the summer and I’m so glad I ordered this brow gel. Retailing under $10, this drugstore find has made my makeup routine super simple and again has let my natural beauty shine. As I’m getting older I’m really starting to value a simple beauty routine that looks like me but a bit better. I also hate spending all day getting ready so this has been amazing for my on the go lifestyle!
To use, all you need to do is brush your brows up and out. If you have darker brows like me you are going to love this!

cordless vacuum
My final Amazon find is a bit random but it’s my vacuum! I snagged this guy when I moved into my new apartment and I’ve just been loving it. I like how it’s a cordless option and makes cleaning my space a breeze. It also has these awesome attachments that make cleaning upholstery extra simple. Sucking up everything, this has been easy on both my hardwood floors and carpeting. Plus it’s easy to assemble and clean which I really appreciate! It’s been a hot seller this past year and I anticipate it selling well again in 2025.
