Have you heard of Rebel Hart Boutique, a female owned small business here in Spokane? It was started by my sweet friend Kodie who wanted to provide outfits to our area that were Free People inspired without the high end price tag. She is absolutely crushing it with her finds and I am just obsessed with the items I tried last time I was in there. With that said, I know the holidays are practically here and whether you are local or across the country, this is one small business that gets my seal of approval for shopping. Casual Midsize Fall Outfit
Starting off strong we have this safari inspired fall outfit idea! I love this time of year for layering and the layering pieces available right now at Rebel Hart are just too good. I am personally loving this Indiana Jones moment with the lightweight button down great for travel or the office styled with a big hat. Now that I cut my hair, I think it’s a great time to experiment with accessories and adding personality to my outfits. To complete the look, I added a simple crossbody bag. This is a great one both for travelers or mamas because it sticks to your person and is rather spacious. I also like this lighter colored leather for cold weather outfits. I notice it pops better with my neutral and darker style this time of year!
Pro Tip: get your jeans from Rebel Hart! They are super stretchy, size inclusive and the only boutique jeans I’ve found in my area to work for my body type. I am so thankful to have a store nearby I can pop into last minute to boost my wardrobe and know I can find something in my size!
Plaid Jacket Outfit for Fall
I told you their outerwear is good! I personally have a penchant for this plaid piece, I love how unique it is with the denim on top and the plaid on the bottom. I also love how it’s blue and white, I think these colors are great for the colder months. For a jacket like this, I recommend keeping the rest of the outfit fairly simple. Think tees, jeans and sneakers or boots to stay warm. I also like dressing garments like this down with a baseball cap or beanie. It screams country to me and has an overall cozy vibe!
Perfect Satin Dress for the Holidays
Now for something a bit fancier! I am a huge fan of Rebel Hart dresses, I think the quality is great and their slips are so comfortable. I sometimes worry about dresses like this on my midsize frame but this is not ill fitting on my curves. As much as I love slip dresses they sometimes don’t look great on my hips but this plum one does! I would wear this to anything from the theater to an office party or even to church! I think a classic dress like this is essential to any woman’s wardrobe and with this plum color in particular there is so much you can do!
Elevated Dress Outfit for the Holidays
I told you this dress was versatile! I love the rich plum color for the holidays, it’s so elegant and can be styled so many ways. If you need an outfit that will be a bit warmer, I recommend layering a textured sweater like this one from Rebel Hart. I like the ribbon detail on the sleeves, it’s different from what I normally see on knitwear these days and it adds a bit of elevation to the overall look. To take it a step further, you could also add a belt to cinch in your waist and help crop the sweater so it’s not too loose over the skirt and your hips. I find creating hourglass silhouettes always look great on my frame and if you have a similar body type you can relate!
Cozy Santa Graphic Sweatshirt
Something I love about Rebel Hart Boutique is their collection of graphics! As an avid graphic tee collector myself, I always find value in cozy pieces like a good graphic. I love the western take on this one in particular, you don’t see it often and it’s perfect for us west coast girlies! If you’re a neutral gal like me, this is going to be high on your rotation and an easy throw on piece for everyday life!
Pro Tip: layer a turtleneck bodysuit under a sweatshirt like this for extra warmth. I think it adds a bit of interest to the overall outfit and will keep you toasty as temperatures drop. If you live somewhere warmer and want the same look, try using a dickey. It gives you the same vibe but the fabric is far smaller and meant for layering.
Holiday Graphic Tee and Split Denim Outfit
Our final look is for my casual girlies! I absolutely adore holiday coffee drinks and this tee captures this passion perfectly. I love how colorful it is and you can totally style this with the plaid jacket from before on a colder day. What really makes this outfit though is the split color jeans. I have never worn denim like this and I think it’s super cool! If you are able to add some statement pieces to your wardrobe like this I would definitely take the opportunity because it adds a visual interest to the look that you don’t often see. I would just advise keeping the rest of the outfit relatively relaxed so they aren’t competing with these bottoms.
