Amazon Prime Day Deals I Already Use
It’s already time for Amazon Prime Day deals, how did the fall fly by so quickly?! This past month has been amazing for fashion. I love experimenting with fall fashion and trends especially when I’m trying to adapt trends to go with my current wardrobe and personal style. Lately I have been finding myself getting into more gothic inspired pieces like black lace and long skirts. I also had a lot of concerts this past month and concert outfit shopping is one of my favorite past times! If you are in the market for fall pieces on a budget, this post is for you. Oh, and as a bonus I’m sharing 3 makeup products I’ve been enjoying recently!

Black maxi skirt
In the past few weeks I have been receiving several questions about fall skirts and budget friendly ones at that. As a girl that has loved her Amazon finds for some time, I was happy to be the resident tester and try out one from Amazon. This has ended up being an excellent find for both work and play. Coming in a full length even for a taller girl, this skirt is just as cute with a lace top as it is with a big sweater. It’s certainly a lookalike for Free People but for way less and what I love about this skirt in particular is it does not have a tie waist. Instead it has clean lines throughout the piece and is formal enough for nice tops but can easily be dressed down with sneakers and a band tee for something more grunge inspired.
Pro Tip: consider wearing this with shorts underneath. I wear my spandex shorts with this skirt for my own comfort and it’s been delightful. I will say this skirt is not see through so you can wear any panty underneath and since it is flowy its great for tucking in a variety of tops! If you need a lazy Halloween costume, add a hat and black shirt to be a witch. Or save this for Thanksgiving because it is stretchy enough to eat a lot of food!
Black lace long sleeve top
I mentioned a few times a black long sleeve lace top and I found mine at Amazon! Inspired once again by Free People, this layering piece is the perfect fall item. Coming in a ton of colors I actually got it in white earlier this year and with how much I wore the other color I knew black would be great for me. Whether you wear it on its own with a black tank underneath or layer it with a sweater or sweatshirt, this is a great way to add personality to an outfit.
Pro Tip: try a top like this with overalls. A mixture of more masculine materials against the soft lace calls for the perfect autumnal outfit. I also love this underneath my big sweaters and simple pants. As I’ve gotten older I have started to embrace a slightly more modest approach to dressing and this has been a great way to still feel confident and beautiful without baring it all. Plus it gets rather cold in the fall and winter where I live so this is a great hack to staying bundled up!
Red maxi dress
This month I was invited to see Wynona Judd in concert and I’m so glad I went! I will be completely honest I have not listened to her music prior to this show but she put on an excellent performance and was so lovely to listen to. In honor of 90s country music, I decided to get a bit crazy and order this red maxi dress. Let me tell you it was a HIT at the show! I got so many compliments and I love how affordable it was. If you have not tried out Amazon dresses, this is your sign to give them a shot.
Pro Tip: dresses like this are amazing on their own but they also work well layered under big sweaters and coats. Consider styling this dress once it gets a bit cooler with a chunky black sweater and boots. It could also work as a Little Red Riding Hood inspired costume if you added a hat and basket. Remember your closet should work with you not against you.

If there is one thing about me it’s my love of Amazon footwear. Their shoes are elite and so comfortable! One of the my all time favorite brands on the site is Dream Pairs. They have a ton of different styles and looks for less that last a long time. To dip my toe in the suede footwear trend, I decided to get these knee high boots. As a midsize girl, I was a little worried about the fit but these have a stretchy material at the opening that is great for girls with thicker calves. I also went a half size up since they are a pointed toe and that worked great for me! Expect to see these a lot as fall continues on.

Youthforia primer
One controversial brand that I honestly like is Youthforia! They have a lovely primer that is a bit smoothing and great for people with dry skin. As we head into the colder months, I notice my skin getting drier and products that can counteract that help my makeup last all day. I also like the packaging of this primer, it travels rather well in my suitcase and keeps my makeup on for hours without budging or looking dull. Plus this primer doubles as a skin tint for the days when you aren’t in the mood to wear much makeup! Talk about a win!

Another great travel find is the Youthforia setting spray! I absolutely love the punchy packaging as well as the lasting power of the product. I notice my makeup stays on all day when I use this although I have yet to put it to the ultimate 24 hour test. Something I do appreciate though is how clear the formula is, I don’t notice it on my skin when I apply it. It’s also a nice fine mist that dries quickly so you can go about your morning once your glam is on!
youthforia color changing blush
Okay ladies, I saved my favorite product for last! The Youthforia color changing blush is an absolute game changer! Coming out light pink and changing based on your skins pH, this is the blush of the future. I love how it’s tailored to my appearance and a little bit goes a long way. I found dabbing once on each cheek looks the best and I actually like to blend it with my finger! This way you get a true natural look and it’s not overwhelming on the skin. If you do want extra color, you can easily layer the product and if you want less pigmentation, try using a sponge. Another great option for blending in a brush but again there is something to be said about the ring finger in this case. It also makes for a great travel product as its compact and you don’t need a tool with it!
