Midsize Fashion Friendly Amazon Finds for Spring
The Amazon obsession is holding strong! From shape wear finds to new fashion favorites I found a lot of goodies this past month. Whether you are looking for a new piece for the office or you’re looking for a garment for summer festivals, I got you covered. Amazon Fashion Finds
White Tie Front Blouse
This tie front blouse has to be one of the best fashion items I’ve purchased in quite some time! I absolutely love the nod to Scandinavian style, I think it is so cute and it’s been rather easy to style. Whether you are dressing it down with denim shorts or elevating the look with trousers, this is a great find for work and play. I’ve worn it to my job with a tank underneath as well as on its own for a date night.
Pro Tip: be sure to size up one in this top. I tried my usual medium at first and it was a bit too tight. The key for a top like this is to be billowy and remembering that midsize women can wear voluminous garments. I absolutely hate the focus on fashion making us look smaller than we are as well as the never ending “flattering” narrative. I think we should wear what makes us smile and feel confident!
Cheetah Print jeans
Okay these jeans are a bit of a wild card but I absolutely love them! My mom absolutely hates them which makes me like them more. I will say go for this brand and go up a size if you’re midsize like me, they fit a lot better that way and honestly are rather comfortable. I tried a similar pair before I got these and they didn’t even zip up! I was not thrilled as you could imagine. Nonetheless I am a big fan of a statement pant, I feel like they give an outfit personality and elevate an otherwise boring look. The key here with a pant like this is sticking to either simplistic tops like a ribbed tank or going all out and adding something like lace or leather. These are also a great pant for going out since they are such a statement while still remaining comfortable on your person.
White Short Sleeve bodysuit
Let me put you on to my latest work staple! It’s this fabulous short sleeve bodysuit, perfect for any professional job. Since it is so fitted and simplistic, it’s great for loose trousers and skirts. I have always enjoyed tops like this especially when I am working outside the home because I don’t have to worry about my stomach showing and with the short sleeves I don’t have to worry about layers. I usually prefer to be cold instead of hot and this is just a practical find.
Another upside of this bodysuit is its quality! It’s double lined, thick without being heavy and it has a great amount of stretch. I find cute basics like this to be the backbone of my closet and make getting ready on the mornings where you are running late a breeze. Plus this will look amazing come fall and winter under cardigans and jackets!
Strapless bodysuit
I know I went on my volume rant earlier today but I also have a penchant for shaping bodysuits. Some of my jeans are tighter than I would like them to be and these are a great way to fit into those pieces comfortably. I adore these Amazon shape wear essentials because they hold me in without being uncomfortable. They are also so affordable and the quality is amazing for the price! This convertible strapless option has been a best seller as of late and for good reason. You essentially get 2 tops in one and it looks amazing both on its own and layered under blouses. This would look great under the blouse I shared before or you can style it as a top with wide leg pants. That is my personal favorite outfit combo especially for a summer happy hour!
Under bra bodysuit
This little number gave me some grief initially! I did not realize it’s supposed to go underneath a bra so do wear something separate with this piece as it is meant to provide some support under your bra. Coming in several colors, this shorts and tank bodysuit is great for formal occasions that might call for fuller coverage shape wear. I know a ton of you ladies love these items and it can be hard to find something comfortable yet practical to have you feeling and looking your best. While I will never say anyone needs shape wear, it’s always nice to have for certain occasions.
platform Ugg sandals
These sandals have to be the comfiest sandals I have ever purchased! I have been a longtime Ugg fan since high school and have waited until now to try their summer styles. Prior to these sandals I have only worn their boots and as amazing as they are for the colder months, these sandals are next level for the heat. They are incredibly comfortable to walk around in for long periods of time plus they are velcro to adjust to your perfect width. I wish I had these when I lived abroad because my feet got super swollen while I was there and this would have been a game changer.
Pro Tip: these can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion! I recommend wearing these with dresses, jeans, shorts and fun tops depending on what you have going on. If you are traveling in particular these are going to be great for walking long distances since they are basically memory foam on the bottom. Just be sure to keep them away from water!
Chunky Statement ring
Our final fashion find is my new favorite ring! My boyfriend is also a big fan, it’s so darn cute for everyday wear and the gold finish is perfection. I purchased a size to wear on my middle finger and it goes well with so many different jewelry stacks depending on the vibe of the day. I have personally loved wearing it to the boutique and out and about on date nights. The key is to style it with several other rings so the most simplistic of outfits are spectacular. This is why I am the biggest jewelry girl, it adds personality to my otherwise plain outfits. Anyone can wear jeans and a tee but the real fashion begins with accessories and jewelry that make an outfit yours.
Pro Tip: keep outfits extra interesting with thin rings and jewelry of different metals. Try golds and silvers together as well as different textures or metals in one look. This will make for a completely unique outfit and I promise you your confidence and joy will skyrocket because of it!

Hally brows
Our last Amazon find from last month was this awesome brow dye! I have never been one to go crazy with my brows nor do I find myself coloring mine often since they aren’t terribly thin. Color me surprised when I tried this at home tint that made my brows look so effortlessly bold in 20 minutes! It was such an easy process from start to finish plus the kit was easy overall to use. If you have lighter brows than I you are definitely going to be a huge fan. Once you’re done with the dye, you’ll be set for a few weeks and I just found myself using a clear brow wax to set my brows in the morning. Talk about a quick beauty routine!
