Amazon Fashion and Home Finds from June 2024
I love a good Amazon month in review and we had some solid finds this month! I had quite the busy June from moving into a new apartment (meaning a ton of great home finds for you!) to traveling back and forth from Seattle which meant a few more fashion finds. My other business Gals Need Pals has kept me rather busy as a young professional so expect to see a lot of workwear, summer styles and an overall fun array of products. Amazon Fashion Finds
White romper
Our first fashion find was VERY controversial on social media! I absolutely loved this little romper but I was torn to shreds in my comment section over it. Giving Free People for less, this dress is technically a romper with its fun shorts underneath. I recommend wearing it layered with a sweatshirt if you don’t like the delicate nature of the piece but I personally enjoy how girly and feminine it is. It also comes in other colors if the white is too stark for you but overall it’s a 10/10 in my book for the sheer versatility of it. Plus, I really like it for work since it does have those built in shorts!
Purple blazer
I told you workwear was a part of this haul! I was on a major news network in Seattle so I had to get an item that made me feel polished and professional. I love the light purple shade of this blazer and white it’s not as boxy as I wanted it to fit, it’s still great for elevating your work wardrobe. I also was pleasantly surprised by the quality it feels very nice for the price and I think it would work well going into next spring. The key here is to keep the rest of the outfit simple especially if you’re to be on television. If this is for work, maybe get crazy and wear this over a dark purple dress or something complimentary like yellow for a more unique outfit.
Pink dress
This dress is probably the best dress I ever purchased especially from Amazon. I feel so beautiful and confident in this piece and it looks stunning for a ton of different occasions. Whether you are dressing it up with heels for a date night or going country with a cowboy boot this dress will take you all through the summertime. I recommend going with your smaller of 2 sizes for the best fit since it is a strapless style. I like just wearing it with the pasties I am featuring next. I swear this is one dress you will want in every color since it works so well throughout the year!
Pro Tip: with a dress like this, have fun with layers in the colder months. Try adding a big sweater over top for the fall or a cool coat. I’ve really been enjoying strapless pieces for the silhouette and since this dress is also tight you can really get crazy layering with baggy items.
Sticky reusable bra petals
These nipple covers or pasties are a new go to of mine! They are from my favorite brand Niidor and the quality is fabulous. I have been shopping this bra brand for years now because the pieces always hold up and this ultra thin version is an absolute game changer. I love how close they fit to the body while still being reusable! They remind me of my one time only pieces so this is a welcome change. I will say be cautious with which color you choose, I think I went a hair too dark for my skin tone but overall you cannot beat this bra solution for the summer.
Pro Tip: these bras are certainly summer proof! I wore these in high 90° heat camping and they did not come off or bother me at all! Whether you need this for a wedding guest dress or a warm weather vacation this is one bra you will never have to worry about.
Amazon Home Finds
Pink rug
I told you I am living in my bachelorette pad and I am having the best time decorating my space! I love finding unique pieces to punch up the room and after MUCH deliberation with my friends we all decided I needed this fun pink rug for my living room. Most of my decor is greyscale so I figured something pink, bold and modern would work well with what I already have. Whether you need it for an office or a living space like me, this rug is surprisingly versatile. I love the soft fabric and for my space the 5x7 size was perfect. I was a little nervous buying a rug from Amazon but while it is a little thinner than some it’s nice overall to break up the wood in my room. It also feels great under my feet which is the ultimate test in my opinion!
Door security
I mentioned that I am living alone and while I am enjoying this new chapter of pure independence there is a bit of fear that comes with being by myself all the time. Fortunately I have this lovely door security piece to give me extra protection and peace of mind in my home. I personally love the door stop for my sliding glass but the door jam is another excellent option should you need it. Either way it was easy to build and while it doesn’t fit perfectly in my apartment it does the job and will keep you feeling safe if you are a woman living alone and in need of extra safety measures at home.
Utensil holders
Our last find this month was a cute kitchen set! These utensil holders are perfect for any modern kitchen since they fit a ton of spoons and goodies. While I haven’t quite found a use for the smaller holder, I like how they look on my counters and the larger of the two have helped me tremendously in staying organized. They are also great quality and look far more expensive than they were. I find having elevated basics in your space gives the room an overall high end feel without necessarily breaking the bank. You could also use these for fake plants and as decor in the living or dining room. Just remember to have fun and add some color to break up the white nature of these holders.
