8 Loungewear Outfit Ideas to Wear in Quarantine

For the last month and a half, our lives have been turned upside down. As a fashion blogger, I’ve felt stuck with content creation and figuring out how to help you during these crazy times. Typically, I am all about graphic tees and fun looks; and I was intending on making content to coincide with my end of college. Instead, I have tried to maintain some normalcy with outfit posts (I’m finally figuring out how to take my own pictures!) and I want to make some outfits that are comfortable for those of us at home.
On Saturday, I had to run into Safeway to pick up a prescription. It was the first time I was at a grocery store in over a month (which is crazy because I LOVE going to Trader Joes on a weekly basis), and I just felt so much anxiety and I knew I had to leave as quickly as possible. It felt like I was living in some sort of post-apocalyptic universe. So, to all of the health workers, thank you. And to those of us at home, lets just stay there as much as we can!
1: Leggings and a Tank

If you need a lounge outfit that is perfect for video calls, this is the look for you!! I LOVE loose tanks like this one, they are comfortable yet polished. To provide a little extra coverage, I added my favorite bralette which could easily be covered with a cardigan or flannel if that’s more your speed. I think the key to this outfits success is the black on black and balance of a tight pant with a floatier top!!
2: Joggers and a Tank

Going in the opposite direction, we have a looser pant with a tighter top! For any good outfit, you should have balance and this outfit has exactly that! I absolutely live for these joggers that I bought a few years back. Who knew they would get so much use 🤦🏻♀️With a high waisted pant like this, I tend to pair it with a cropped top and just keep the look simple!
3: Joggers and a Graphic Tee

I am just obsessed with this outfit!! I love pairing the green in this graphic with these cozy green joggers. It’s rather bold for me 😆To make this outfit a little more stylish, I used a fashion trick I learned in fourth grade choir. All you do is tie the back of the tee in a little knot and its instantly more fitted and cropped!! I love how the tighter midsection looks with the looser sleeves, it’s just too cute!
4: Biker Shorts and a Sweatshirt

Is it even a Lauren post without some biker shorts?? For this look, I went with my tie dye (yes it is technically tie dye, it’s just super faint!) sweatshirt with my favorite shorts. I love a cozy long sleeve with shorts, especially in the springtime. When I normally work in my room, I just lay down with a blanket and call it a day! Plus, I just feel a little trendy in this look 😜
5: Biker Shorts and an Oversized Tee

WOW OH WOW IT’S A QUEEN TEE. This makes number 4 in my collection… Gotta say, this particular tee has been in the back of my mind for over a year now and I am SO glad I got it!! I just love how big and cozy this tee is. Plus it has the whole band on it 🤩For the literal entirety of my life, Queen has been my all time favorite band and I love sharing my music taste any way I can.
6: Slip Dress and Tee
If you were to tell me a month ago that I would be living in a slip dress, I would have thought you were crazy. Lo and behold, this is the COMFIEST thing ever. Like insanely comfortable. I love the looser nature of this dress and with a graphic tee over top, it becomes even better!! I love the contrast of satin with cotton and it’s one of those outfits you can throw on and do anything in. It’s both comfortable and stylish!
7 : Leggings and a Sweatshirt

If you come from any remotely cold area, you know how amazing this outfit is. First, we got this cozy sweatshirt that just works for spring. I am obsessed with this rusty peach color for this time of year, it’s bright but nothing too crazy. To pull the look together, I went with my favorite leggings from Lululemon. They are ridiculously soft and go with literally any outfit. I guarantee you I will be wearing this look a ton throughout the coming year!
8: Pajama Set
Shout out to my teddy bear Harrods for stealing the show on this one! For my ultra lounge girls, go with a great pair of pajamas!! I LOVE this set from Nordstrom, it is so soft and I have honestly worn the top as a regular shirt 😅I think a matching set is an essential item for anyone to have, regardless of lounging needs. Whether you are on a trip or just wanting to feel snazzy at night, this set is always going to be the move!
