August Amazon Finds

How on earth did another month just fly on by?! I’ll be honest, this month I was really bad about blogging. During the first week of August, I was traveling then I got sick and started a new job the following week. After a bit of an adjustment period, I’m finally back into content creating and I’m so excited to share my Amazon finds with you all! This is my favorite type of post and this time around I have a plethora of goodies. Keep reading to see what I’ve purchased recently!

Cowboy Hat

In case you missed it, I recently went to the Watershed music festival and went a little crazy on Amazon picking out clothes for it! I definitely did not have a country wardrobe before this experience so it was fun trying out hats and boots that are a bit out of my comfort zone. While this hat was not summer appropriate, I still liked how it was black and went with the boots! Sometimes you just need to wear what makes you happy and this outfit certainly did that.

Cowboy Boots

I told you a new character was unlocked! I absolutely love how these boots elevate any outfit. Prior to going to a country bar, I never would have thought to pair this dress with boots like this but they are a total vibe! I think these will also be cute with leather leggings in the fall or a fun denim mini skirt. Plus, this pair is under $50 and are quite comfortable! If you are going to walk a lot in them, do go for thicker socks inside but for a night out they were perfect for me as is.

Pink Bikini

I just love this bikini! It’s perfectly high waisted and looked amazing with my Watershed outfits. While I didn’t get a picture at the festival just in the swimsuit, I am pleased to share it here nonetheless. On top, there is a slight push up and the high waisted bottoms are perfect for any girl who doesn’t love her tummy. I find this style to be most flattering on my body type and I feel quite confident in this look! Oh, and the bright pink is too good to pass up overall!!

Cow Bikini

When you and the roomie wear matching cow bikini’s, it must be documented! At Watershed, I saw a ton of girls in cow print so you know it’s the pattern of the season. Now working at Chick-fil-A, I love the cow design even more and I think it’s a total country move for a bikini. Just a word of caution with this one; be careful when you dry the top. The stiff front sort of collapsed in the heat for me so it doesn’t quite fit as well but it’s still cute enough to keep in my summer swim rotation!

Butter Dish

Odd fact about me; I love Costco butter! It has such a rich flavor and it makes any dish that much better. However, it comes in a giant pack and I hate using cold butter in my dishes. I knew I needed a butter dish to keep on the counter and this one from Amazon is perfect. I like how it’s clear and minimal, it fits seamlessly into my kitchen and I keep it next to the stove while I cook! I’ve always been a minimalist girl and this dish is perfect for that design.

Colanders

I found these colanders ages ago online and wanted to buy them when I moved out! Since getting my own place, I’ve been loving this pack of strainers. They fit easily in the dishwasher and they work well with my pastas. I also love that they collapse, it saves a ton of space in my cabinets which fill up faster than I’m ever expecting. Seriously a great find for any cook!

Kitchen Grips

These were another item I’ve been dreaming of adding to my kitchen! The grips have been so handy when carrying and serving warm dishes. I also like using them to open difficult jars in my kitchen. Coming in several colors, they add a bit of zest to my space and are honestly multifunctional. I’ve even used them on very warm dishes straight out the oven and they hold up well. Finally, they are pretty easy to clean since they’re silicon which is always a bonus to me!

Cotton Pads

These were on Prime Day and I’m actually really glad I got them! These are the softest cotton pads I’ve ever tried and they’re super smooth. Lately I’ve used them with micellar water to take off my makeup, but it could be used for anything really.

Intimates Organizer

When I moved, I decided to pick up some drawer organizers! They’ve been oddly helpful when storing panties and bras. I almost wish I got less because they don’t quite fit all the bra’s I acquired from Nordstrom, but they have been great for panties and socks. If you have less of a collection, I still recommend them because it does make my dresser neater and they’re just cute!

3 Section Shelf

Finally I have this adorable shelf for my purses! Honestly I got this shelf just for my fan because I love the sound at night; but it’s worked out great to display my handbags as well! To add to the space, I also placed a small plant in the center shelf but you could totally personalize it as needed. Whether you stand it vertical like I did, or go horizontal, you can’t go wrong!

By the way, this shelf was pretty easy to build! Amazon included everything you need in the box and there are even stickers to cover the screws if you’re interested.

I hope you enjoyed this Amazon haul! Lately I’ve really enjoyed shopping for my new place and finding inexpensive outfits for my various trips. If you need items that you know you are going to ruin pretty easily, I believe Amazon is the perfect place! They also have a ton of cute, affordable pieces for the home. With summer ending, now is the time to get your space comfortable and cute to start fall off right.
