Christmas Outfits of the Week

Holiday Outfits of the Week

I cannot believe Christmas has come and gone already! 2022 was such a crazy year and I can’t really believe it’s almost over. As we approach 2023, I wanted to share my holiday outfits from 2022 and what I wore throughout the week leading up to Christmas. I’ll be honest I wasn’t the best at documenting my looks this past week since I was traveling and working so much but I’m sharing a few of the outfits and will get more to you next week!

Errand Outfit

Look one was on the simple side for sure. I have been loving this new blue coat I got from Universal Standard and it matches with so many outfits. This time around I made it more casual with yoga pants and a grey band tee. The shirt worked great actually with this outfit because there is some blue in the tee which echoed the blue in the coat. Remember, dressy outerwear is not for dressy outfits anymore. Having some contrast is fun this season!

Flannel Find

Further into the week I wore my new BEARPAW booties with some leather leggings and a big flannel. I have been loving the platform bootie trend this season, they are so comfortable and surprisingly easy to style. When you opt for a simple color like black, you can wear them with leggings or with a wide leg jean for some added punch.

Pro tip: when trying out trendy footwear, consider shopping from budget friendly retailers like BEARPAW. You get the same style but for less and you won’t have to take as great care as the high end brands. It’s honestly a win-win in my book!

Christmas Outfit

To round off the week we just have my Christmas outfit. I got this dress in recently from Exlura on Amazon and I love the bow detail! It’s incredibly feminine and looks season appropriate. To let the dress speak for itself, I went with muted accessories like my tan long coat and tan over the knee boots. While my footwear choice is considered cheugy by many, I liked the fitted shoe with a more voluminous dress. Remember, balance in an outfit will always be key!
