Cozy Fall Outfit Ideas | October 2022

Mid October Outfits of the Week

Temperatures are finally starting to dip so it’s time to break out my cozy outfits! I have been waiting for fall weather for a hot minute now so expect some fun layers and even knitwear. I also had an event this week that brought me into businesswear so look out for my take on professional clothing. Now, to see my outfits keep on reading!

Oversized Band Tee Outfit

To start off the week I went to one of my all time favorite restaurants in Spokane which is Soulful Soups. Well to go I wanted to wear something cute yet comfortable. Enter my boyfriend jean and oversized band tee combo. While this is quite casual, it feels somewhat elevated with my trendy clogs. If you aren’t into baggy with baggy, I recommend swapping either the tee for something fitted or a more tailored jean. Either way it’s such a vibe!

Brown Tonal Outfit

Before the chill really hit my city and the rain came down, I wore my favorite Amazon mini dress with some fun ankle boots. To be on trend this year be sure to wear booties that go up past your ankles. They also pair well with denim but for a tonal look, go with another warm toned piece like the aforementioned dress. To tie the look together, I added my favorite brown bag and called it a day!

Leather Vest Outfit

While oversized vests may not be the most stylish in 2022, I personally love this leather option I got last year from Abercrombie. Its the perfect layering piece and goes rather nicely with my favorite October sweatshirt and yoga pants. To remain fashionable while wearing activewear, try leather accessories and avoid bold colors. This makes you look more polished and even feels a bit streetwear appropriate.

Business Professional Outfit

Once the weekend rolled around it was time to go to my first auction as a business owner! My old neighbor invited me and the dress code was cocktail and business so I went with this Amazon dress from a few years ago and a statement bootie. I also added my favorite oversized blazer with a belt to elevate the look a bit.

Pro tip: if you recreate this look in cooler weather, try a pair of sheer tights. Having the pop of leg makes this outfit youthful and breaks up all of the black!

Date Night Outfit

Over the weekend, I went on a first date and had to wear something fun! Since it was grey outside and drizzling, I wanted to wear something cute yet warm. Thus I went with my favorite shacket, a simple bodysuit, a comfortable pair of jeans and some boots! I also always love wearing my Gucci handbag on dates to tie the look together and remind the guy that I am a fashion girly. For some extra pizzazz, consider adding a belt of some persuasion but less is more typically on dates.

Have a Great Week

I hope these outfits inspire your upcoming week! I love playing around with my personal style depending on my plans and what the weather looks like. Fashion remember is a personal, artistic expression and should be fluid. I am always pushing myself to try different looks and you should too!

Until next time,

Lauren
