Budget Friendly Halloween Costumes for Her

Easy Halloween Costumes for Women 2022

It’s time for my annual Halloween costume round up! I cannot believe it’s time to dress up again and whoop it up with my friends. This year I will be celebrating at a friends house and I have the best costume idea for 2022. It looks great on my 5’8 size 10 frame so you know it’s a winner! Now, if you need some midsize and budget friendly costume ideas, keep on reading.

Flapper Girl Costume

Our first costume is super fun, it’s a flapper girl! I got this dress over the summer for a vacation and honestly it works well for anything flapper inspired. To create this look be sure to pin up your hair and grab a skinny makeup brush to act as your cigarette. If you have one, grab a beaded headband to get the full look but I found the pin up to work just nicely. To top off this outfit, try adding a fur coat and a pair of kitten heels!

Biker Babe Costume

Okay I will be honest this has been my costume the last 2 years but it’s such a staple for a reason! This time around I added an orange scrunchie but you can style this with a bandana for a bit more pizzazz. For colder climates, I recommend doing this look with leather leggings or pants. For people in warmer areas, try a pair of leather shorts or even a mini skirt! Of course to finish off the outfit I recommend wearing some chunky combat boots.

Fairy Princess Costume

For all my girly girls do I have a costume for you! I got this fun pink dress earlier this year for Valentine’s Day pictures and honestly it’s worked out great for Halloween as well. To recreate this look, all you really need is a fun loofah inspired dress, a fairy wand and some wings! It’s so feminine and I felt absolutely gorgeous in this look. Bonus points if you order fairy ear attachments and create some cottage-core inspired makeup.

Hot Wheels Costume

Okay hear me out with this one! I originally was thinking of being Lightening McQueen for Halloween this year but I ended up finding this Hot Wheels shirt at a local vintage shop and I had to get it. To subsequently become Hot Wheels, I added a leather skirt, my favorite leather combat boots, and I used Command strips to attach some toy cars to a purse I have. For a final touch, add a pair of flame sunglasses. Mine have not come in yet but stay tuned on Instagram to see my final look!
