Winter Outfits of the Week
Well winter has officially arrived in Spokane! I’ll be honest I was snowed in most days this week but I still made sure to style some fun outfits for my various activities. From long coats to a plethora of layers, I really tried to have fun with my current winter wardrobe!
Pink Scarf Styling
Something fun and new I’ve started on Instagram is my Pinterest outfit recreation series! This time around I was inspired by my new scarf from H&M. I will be real with you I haven’t been able to find it online but it’s available in store all across Washington State. Overall I’m living for the pop of color and it breaks up the typical monochrome look that plagues winter fashion.
Graphic Tee Outfit
I told you this week was a mellow one! As the days continued on, I went with a big band tee and my favorite flared leggings. They are so stinking comfortable and to make this look winter appropriate, I added my slipper boots from Amazon. This holiday season I cannot recommend sherpa shoes enough. Do be careful around them since they are a pain to clean but they are overall such a wardrobe staple in my opinion!
Green Coat Outfit
Toward the end of the week I had an in person meeting with a new social media client so it was the perfect time to dress up a bit! I went with a simple all black base outfit and topped things off with a fun green coat. While I’m not huge on color, I oddly enough wear it a bit during the colder months to counteract the dreary weather. It also adds a bit of pizazz to my otherwise all black outfits, honestly a win win!
Casual Winter Outfit
I know you don’t typically think of tees in the wintertime but when you spend most of the time in the house it’s the comfiest option! I’ve been enjoying my big tees recently with a simple pair of leggings, crew socks and slipper boots. They’re such a fun hybrid shoe and add a bit of coziness to any outfit. If you live in a bit of a warmer climate, I would recommend adding a big denim jacket over top or you could go the puffer route if you’re in a snowy place like myself.
Date Day Outfit
To end the week I went on my third date with mystery man and we had so much fun! I wanted to wear something more casual this time around and I absolutely love what I came up with. I went with my favorite black hoodie, some leather leggings and a cozy coat. While this was not my smartest choice I also added my favorite high top sneakers but they worked well for wandering through the mall.
