Early November Outfit Ideas | November 2022
Start of November Outfits of the Week
Well, November is officially here and snow has started in my city! I’ll be fully honest with you, I really stink at getting dressed for cold weather but I am determined to create season appropriate outfits for you all that are still fun and fashionable. It’s going to be a challenge and I’m already starting to struggle but I’m proud of the looks I’ve created so far!
Casual Halloween Outfit
Kicking off the week strong was Halloween! I decided to wear some fun orange jeans and a Halloweentown sweatshirt to celebrate. Since I didn’t have any plans for the day, I thought a festive yet casual outfit would be perfect. I always love a good graphic moment and the jeans (which are currently on sale) were the right pop of color to take the look to the next level. You really can’t go wrong with outfits like this!
Rainy Day Outfit
Outfit number two for the week was my take on rainy day dressing. When it gets a bit stormy out, I always like wearing a pop of color. It helps me feel less dreary and a big sweater just keeps things cosy. The knit I’m wearing above is a Free People find from years ago and it’s still a closet staple. You really can’t go wrong with elevated basics!
Pro Tip: On rainy days, consider wearing stylish weather gear. I layered a simple puffer and my favorite Dr Marten boots that have lasted me season after season. If you can afford to invest in great basics like these you will be golden!
Edgy Business Casual
By hump day it was time to wear something business casual to a networking event I had! In true Lauren fashion I could not show up in proper workwear so I opted for my new favorite leather pants from Abercrombie. I love how they look layered with a blazer and the pop of color from the snake print boots really take the outfit to the next level.
Striped Sweater Style
I wore this outfit to get my holiday Starbucks drink and the barista actually complimented me on my outfit! There is something so on trend and fun when it comes to a leather vest and a chunky knit sweater. The contrast in textures keeps things modern and it’s still casual enough for everyday. Of course if you’re more of a color person you could wear the sweater from earlier in the week but it’s up to you!
Brunch Babe Outfit
Our final outfit of the week is a long cardigan paired with cowboy boots. I went to brunch over the weekend with my closest friends and had to wear my black boots. To keep the outfit on trend, I added my long duster cardigan from Petal and Pup and kept things simple with a black tank and leather leggings. For my midsize girls, this is a great way to get a slimming effect and create simple lines in your body because everything is black or a neutral going up and down the body.
Have a Great Week
I hope the outfits above inspire your shopping habits! Nothing makes me happier than writing these weekly outfit round ups, they keep me creative in my styling and they are such a fun way to record what I wear throughout the year.
