Rainy Day Fall Outfits | October 2022
End of October Outfits of the Week
Well, fall has finally hit the PNW and inland northwest in particular! Rain clouds are all around so I’ve been working extra hard to create cute outfits that are also practical for the changing weather. I recently got some cozy accessories in like a puffy vest and my combat boots are finally in heavy rotation. Now, to see what I wore, keep on reading!
Tonal Fall Outfit
On the first of the rainy days cozy knitwear rang supreme. I actually found this outfit on Pinterest and loved the contrast between a knit and almost a work pant. These bottoms are an Urban Outfitters find that pair nicely with chunky boots like my Dr Martens. Now, light pants like these can sometimes be intimidating especially in the fall. I like to keep the styling simple with blacks and whites. For something more advanced, try a brown sweater or even a warm toned graphic tee!
Flare Leggings Outfit
I’ll be honest with you all I was getting bored with my closet recently so I picked up a new pair of pants from Urban Outfitters. Unsure if they were going to fit, I grabbed them in a L and so glad I did. They fit like a glove and they are so comfortable! For a casual work day, I styled them with a black bodysuit and my new cropped puffer vest. It was perfect for yet another rainy day and I felt so comfy working on the computer all day.
Camel Coat Outfit
As the week continued, it was time to go to a business meeting so I wore my favorite camel coat and a chunky sweater. I love elevating a simple knit/denim look with a statement piece of outerwear. If you can, I recommend investing in a good coat or jacket. They are great for work or nice nights out and will be just the item to make any look a bit more classy!
Skims Dress Lookalike
Once the weekend came around, it was time for my first broadway show in Spokane! I went to see Book of Mormon and had an absolute blast. I wanted to look nice for the occasion of course so I found this skims dress dupe on Amazon and it was perfect. It’s super soft and fit me like a glove, both great things for a show! It was also just incredibly comfortable to sit in all evening so bonus points to this dress for that!
Cozy Athleisure Outfit
Our final look of the week is a comfy workout outfit that I wore on a nature walk! With fall officially here, it’s time to bring on the layers. I wore my favorite crewneck from Nordstrom last year under a cropped puffer vest and styled it with leggings and a simple sneaker. You could always add a baseball cap or a belt bag to complete the look but I was taking a less is more approach that day.
