End of April Outfit Ideas

End of April Outfits of the Week

This past week was so fun and busy! I love when my schedule is packed like this week, it’s so fun to me and makes for the best memories. With that in mind, I got to play around a lot with my style over the last several days so keep reading to see what I ended up wearing!

Errand Outfit

To kick off the week I have to share my errand look. Wanting to remain fairly simple with my style, I went with a bodysuit and denim combo. I love styling my straight leg jeans with super fitted tops for spring and summer, I think it’s the perfect balance and it’s honestly so practical. I felt rather comfortable in this look and while you may think I’m a little nuts doing black with a light denim, it honestly works because it’s graphic while remaining cohesive. Back in the day, I used to be afraid of lighter washes but now I fully embrace them and love experimenting with color combos!

Budget Friendly Denim

A day later I did a twist on the same outfit! Instead of a bodysuit, I went with a fitted tank and I switched to white accessories. In my book this is the quintessential spring outfit, light and comfortable! Speaking of comfort, I need to take a moment for these sneakers and jeans. The shoes are Reebok and incredibly comfortable and the jeans are a new Target find and essentially mold to your body as you wear them. I also enjoy the slits in the knees of these jeans, I think it adds a bit of dimension and personality to an otherwise simplistic look.

Western Aesthetic

Halfway through the week I went to a new to me BBQ joint and felt like dressing for the occasion! Now, initially I was going to style this look with a printed mini skirt and while the two pieces somewhat clashed they looked rather cute overall. However the weather had different plans so I ended up styling this shirt with a fitted dress underneath. I love how it creates the illusion of a skirt but it’s actually an entire dress. To complete the fit, I added my favorite Converse and a big jean jacket. Overall this outfit was comfortable to eat in and easy to feel cute in!

Flower Festival Festivities

While I may be in front of wings in this picture, I was actually at a flower festival that day! I decided to take myself on a day date and had the best time taking pictures amongst the tulips (stay tuned for the upcoming blog post). For the occasion, I actually purchased a dress from Amazon. I loved how it was a maxi, flowy style and lined past my knees. To tie up the look, I did something a bit different for me and wore my short hunter boots. I think the outdoorsy element of the shoes really tied the look together and shows just how versatile this dress is!

Country Girl

To end the week, I went out to my favorite country bar so I naturally had to dress up for the occasion! I went with my favorite cowboy hat (that honestly saved me at night because it started dumping rain) and boots. To elevate the look, I went with an oversized tee from Amazon and a leather mini skirt. It was a winner with the patrons and I just felt my absolute best.

Have a Great Week

I hope these outfits inspire your May! I love getting to play around with the various aspects of my style, I think fashion is truly the best way to express yourself and showcase who you are as a person. Whether I am going casual with jeans and a simple top, or glamming it up with dresses or skirts, I hope this post inspires your next shopping trip!

Until next time,

Lauren
