End of February Outfits

End of February Outfits of the Week

Just like that, another week has come and gone! One of my new favorite routines is writing out my outfit posts on Sundays. It forces me to still get dressed while working from home and I hope it inspires you all to have fun with your style! Now, keep on reading to discover what I did and what I wore these past 7 days.

Band Tees and Biker Shorts

Our first outfit of the week is this comfy as heck work from home look. Now that I am self employed, I can wear whatever I please and lately thats been oversized tees and biker shorts! I think this outfit combination is so comfortable and if you feel extra you can always crop the tee and let your booty pop off. Another bonus to this look? The longer shorts prevent chub rub and thats honestly a double win in my book.

Sweatshirt Styling

Oddly enough this outfit is one of my favorite looks from the week! It’s rather simple as it’s a cream crewneck with distressed jeans and white sneakers but outfits like this are a total vibe for the end of winter/early spring. My styling tip for an outfit like this is to do a little front tuck. It adds a bit of shape to an otherwise boxy outfit!

Downtown Style

For wine Wednesday, I wore something that worked for both a coffee shop and the wine bar. Enter this fun graphic tee from Rising Sunflower Boutique paired with my favorite leather leggings. To make the outfit even more elevated, add some platform Converse! They are casual enough for daytime but unique enough for night. If you wanted to wear this just for the bars, I would go with heels or booties instead but I went with comfort this time around!

Nature Walk Outfit

Something I’ve been focusing more on in 2022 is exercise! While I haven’t done an exorbitant amount of movement, I do try and go on nature walks when I can and this outfit was perfect for my walk around my neighborhood. Since the weather has been a bit chilly, I layered a Free People sherpa over my Lululemon pieces. Overall I was super comfortable and able to move quite well in this whole look!

Punk Femme Fashion

For the final look, I branched out completely from my comfort zone and wore this awesome mini dress from Amazon to my first Seattle drag show. I had never gone to such a production so I had to dress the part. To make the look a bit edgier, I added some sheer tights and chunky black combat boots. Honestly this look was a huge hit and this fashion risk definitely paid off!

I hope this post totally inspired you! I just adore sharing outfit inspiration and playing around with different outfit ideas. To me, fashion is a way to fully express myself and test out a new version of Lauren each day. Remember, fashion is what you make of it and always have fun with your personal wardrobe. It’s the only way to do it!

Until next time,

Lauren
