Early March Outfit Ideas
Easy Outfits from the Start of March
This week was such a fun one! I went on a mini adventure to southern Washington and got to dress a bit more country than I typically do. Alongside the western inspired outfits, I also wore some casual pieces and a business casual look for a big dinner at my favorite restaurant. Each day I try to express a new side of myself through what I wear. Depending on your personal style, you may find a lot of joy through these outfits!
Printed Sherpa Style
For something super casual, I went with a simplistic grey tank and black jean combo. I love easy outfits like this for errands or little adventures. While the under layers are great on their own, I thought it would be nice to layer over a printed sherpa jacket to keep me warm and stylish. I loved how the black in the jacket went with the jeans and the look is tied together with a simple pair of high top Converse.
Business Casual Babe
My next outfit is my personal take on business casual. I hate that I forgot to take a full body photo of this outfit but it turned out so cute nonetheless. I began with an oversized blazer and layered it over a white bustier from Amazon. I also styled this with some high waisted wedgie jeans from Levi’s to counteract the stuffiness of a blazer. To complete the look, add some nude heels and you’re good to go!
Floral Skirt Fantasy
Okay I am ready to bring back the low top converse! I find these sneakers to be so comfortable and they look great with casual spring outfits. Take this one for example, I styled my sneakers with a white graphic tee and a blue floral midi skirt. The key to an outfit like this is to keep the pieces fairly cohesive and try to draw colors from similar families. This outfit truly works because you have a lot of white, blue, and orange throughout both pieces of clothing.
Western Influence
Over the weekend, I took some time exploring southern Washington and I had the best time! I ended up staying in a cute cabin in Morton and the following day I spent some time in Packwood. To dress for the occasion, I wore a new Amazon shacket with some fitted under layers. I feel like all the country girlies wear shackets like this and to stay true to my style, I added a baseball cap, skinny jeans, and some lightweight sneakers. If you find yourself exploring a new area, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes like these and your favorite stretchier jeans to accommodate for all the delicious food to be had. You are very welcome in advance!
Black and Brown Forever
My final outfit was a grungy spin on black and brown! I really enjoy the color combo for the end of winter, it’s still fairly cozy but can be so chic when done with lightweight pieces. For this look, I paired a simple brown bodysuit with black mom jeans and an oversized trucker jacket. It was perfect for running errands and the look was complete with black combat boots. In my opinion, it’s giving my hometown realness and honestly that is a vibe!
Enjoy Your Week
I hope these outfits inspired your looks for the upcoming week! This transitional period between winter and spring is so fun for fashion, anything really goes at this point. Remember to have fun with layering and always add some unexpected elements to your looks. By the way, please stay tuned for next week. I will be sharing everything I wore to Vegas!! It’s going to be something you won’t want to miss!
Until next time,
Lauren
