Mid February Outfit Ideas
Mid February Outfit Inspiration
Ah yes, the week of love! This week was kicked off by valentines day and ended with a weekend trip to visit my sister in college! Since it’s still rather chilly in both my hometown and her college town, I came prepared with lots of layers and cozy styling. To see what I wore, keep on reading these are some solid looks!
The Anti Valentine
Ah yes, going on year 24 without a Valentine. While I’ve never been the biggest fan of the holiday, I still wanted to pay homage to the holiday of love. To do so, I went with some simple black layers and my favorite jeans. For a hint of color, I added an amazon shacket and called it good! Sometimes nods to holidays is better than fully expressing the day.
Cozy Athleisure
One of my new favorite activities is going out to coffee shops to work. I went to one in Lacey WA and wore my favorite lululemon joggers. When going for a casual sporty look, I like to keep things simple by wearing neutral colors and oversized layers. If you’re comfy, I feel like you’re more productive plus this is just a cute fit overall!
Band Tee Obsession
If you’ve been following along on my fashion journey for any number of time, you might have noticed my obsession with band tees or graphic tees. I feel like they can go with SO MANY outfits and lately I’ve been addicted to the tees from urban outfitters. The quality is next level and the graphics are stunning. I paired my Van Halen option with some 90s denim for coffee and work, it was such a vibe! Truly cannot recommend enough.
Neutral Needs
As you can probably tell, I’m not a huge color gal. I recently got in a tee and shorts set from amazon and fell in love with its tan color! Instead of wearing it as a set, I actually wore just the tee and tucked it into my favorite jeans with a denim jacket over top. By keeping the look fairly simple, I feel like I was fashionable without being too much.
Art Teacher Realness
My final look is a bit more experimental for me but it was perfect for the cold weather of eastern Washington! I layered a lightweight sweater from again urban outfitters underneath the comfiest shacket from amazon. I think the mixture of textures was fun and the dark green screams winter to me. If you ever wanted to elevate this look, I would add combat boots and a cool oversized jacket!
