Early February Outfits

Outfits from Early February

If you have a penchant for neutrals, boy do I have a styling series for you! This past week was my first full week back at my parents and I finally got to express myself in some fun outfits. For the most part, these looks were pretty casual since I had errands to run but I did have a Galentine’s day one afternoon and a winery birthday party another so you’re getting a good range. Keep reading to see what I wore!

Band Tee Babe

To kick things off I wanted to play around with my new jeans and a good ol’ band tee. I love how loose both pieces are, the bagginess compliments each other. To maintain some type of shape, I added my favorite belt and tucked in the tee. It really balanced out the look and made it a full outfit!

Cardigan Queen

While I’ve always loved the concept of cardigans, I don’t actually wear them all that often. I have a few in my closet but I feel like I’m always forgetting about them. Not anymore though! I really love this option from Pink Lily, it’s so comfortable and perfectly oversized. To make it wearable, I layered it over my favorite bodysuits and mom jeans. Remember, never make yourself a stranger to distressing and textures.

Shacket Style

One of my favorite trends in recent years is shackets, they are comfortable and keep me warm in chilly Washington! This option from Free People is my all time favorite, the quality is next level and it’s just so comfortable. For errands this week, I styled mine with a simple white tank and dad jeans. In the world of Lauren, basics and neutrals are always going to rule!

Galentine’s Day Outfit

For my grungier girls, I have the perfect outfit! I went with this floral dress and combat boot combination for Galentine’s Day this year and I absolutely loved it. Using my new maxi dress, I layered it with my favorite black sweater and come chunky boots. This outfit totally works because the colors are cohesive but the textures are different enough to add excitement to the overall look. Plus, by layering, I turn the dress into a skirt and have yet another way to wear this nice garment!

Winery Wonders

My final look comes from the winery over the weekend! I wanted to be cute yet comfortable since we had to do some driving to get to our final destination. I absolutely loved this blouse, I got it a few years back but I linked some similar options for you. To bring down the niceness of the top, I added my black jeans and sneakers. They anchor the whole look and looked great with some white wine!

Happy Styling

I hope these outfits inspired you! Nothing makes me happier than dressing up and wearing whatever I want, whenever I want. As we head out of winter, be prepared for some nice transitional looks. I love layering and mixing different textures to create my perfect outfit. There is truly nothing better in my book!

Until next week,

Lauren
