Middle of April Outfit Ideas

April Outfits of the Week

This week was more mellow than my other weeks but sometimes that is nice! While yes I had several plans get cancelled (something I do struggle with), I did try to play around a bit with my casual outfits and I think I came up with some great looks! Keep reading now for some fun, midsize style ideas for April!

Band Tee and Leggings

Kicking off the week I wore this super simple band tee and leggings outfit. I didn’t do much on Monday other than work and some errands so it was nice to wear something comfortable. To make this simplistic outfit a little bit more exciting though, I did do a cute hairstyle. If you are going easy on the outfit and wearing something casual, it’s always nice to elevate the look with a unique hairdo. In this case, I went with a bubble ponytail but you could do any number of looks!

Distressed Denim Delights

The following day I repeated my tee but I honestly love repeating garments and tweaking them with different accessories. While yes I always love sharing outfit content here and new pieces as often as I can, I also try to make it a point to show the versatility of pieces. In the case of the tee, it looks wonderful with both leggings and denim! I went with some distressed jeans and kept things casual with black sneakers and a simple belt bag. Overall it was perfect for an afternoon of shopping which is how I spent the day!

Neutrals Only

As the week wore on, I wanted to play around with my neutral pieces and different textures. Truth be told I didn’t end up going anywhere the day I wore that outfit but I did love the ribbed knit against the denim. To tie in the look, I added my white belt and I thought it was too cute! It’s honestly a spring staple for me and to finish things off, I added a neutral platform sandal so I could be comfortable.

Leather Lady

I personally love leather leggings in the spring, they are so comfortable and when paired with a fitted top, so chic as an under layer! For this outfit, I balanced the all black with a cropped boxy denim jacket. It works as a look because you are combining something tight with something loose. Also, to finish off the look, I added platform high top sneakers which make the look practical for adventures while also fun because they harken to the simplicity of the jacket.

Arts Walk Style

To end the work week I went to my local arts walk (albeit a bit early) and in honor of the artsy occasion I decided to wear something I considered to be rather artsy! I went with this big hat that was perfect for the rain and a simple all black outfit. I wore my new favorite Amazon tank again with some simple black jeans and black combat boots. I love the contrast once more between fitted and chunky pieces, its such a vibe and I feel so confident!

Have a Great Week

I hope these outfits inspired your upcoming week! I just adore coming up with different outfits for the week and I’m glad I am able to showcase a lot more versatility for you on this blog. See, while in many ways I do consume more than the average person with regards to shopping, I do still try to buy products that fit well into my wardrobe and can be styled many ways. So this is my challenge to you; try to wear one piece two or three ways this week. You might just be surprised with what you come up with!

Until next time,

Lauren
