Mid April Outfit Ideas

Outfits of the Week for April

This week was surprisingly busy with coffee work sessions, trips to Seattle and of course Easter! I don’t know what it is about this particular spring but something magical is in the air and my calendar is booking up quick. With that comes a bunch of fun outfits and with this week in particular, a lot of outfits centering around wacky weather. Western Washington saw everything from hail to rain to sun so my outfits were quite varied. Keep reading now to see what I wore!

Seattle Sipping

Okay apologies in advance for this first look, I only got the top half but the bottom half was just black skinny jeans and vans!! To kick off my week, I went up to the Ballard neighborhood in Seattle to see my old roommate who was in town from Spain. It was so nice catching up with her and while we were exploring we tried Sabine for an afternoon cocktail. As to my exploration outfit, I wore an oversized jacket from Nashville and my new favorite tank from Amazon. You will definitely see this piece a lot more, it’s incredibly comfortable and comes in a ton of colors. If there is one garment you should get this week thats the one!

Rainy Day Style

As I mentioned before, the weather was super wacky this week so this is what I wore on a particularly rainy day! I recently got in this cute shacket from Amazon and it’s the perfect dupe for the Free People waffle knit jacket. I love that this one is lightweight and far less expensive, it leans into the trend but I don’t feel bad if I don’t wear it a ton. Nonetheless, I styled it with a bunch of black so it pops. Overall a solid weekday look if you ask me!

Black and White Beauty

As the week went on, I wore this cute yet casual outfit for a work day! Since my job is content creation and I was mainly taking photos and videos for my client, I have a lot of leeway in what I can wear so I opted for my favorite spanx leather leggings with a comfortable tank and my go-to oversized denim jacket. To tie together the look, I wore my tan sock boots and I love how it turned out!

Errand Look

As the week came to a close, I wore my neutral errand outfit consisting of my favorite sneakers and a newer tank from Revolve. I was a bit worried at first to style this outfit because I wasn’t sure how I’d like the tank and shacket together but honestly I think it turned out great in the end! Sometimes less is more especially when you’re busy.

Easter Sunday Best

Our last outfit of the week was my Easter dress! I found this piece from Abercrombie and just love it. To keep the look simple, I styled it with my favorite nude heels from Steve Madden and I did bring a cropped denim jacket in the morning since it was a bit chilly. This outfit was also a winner for me because it reminded me of Bridgerton which I just started and that’s truly the vibe for me.

Have a Great Week

I hope these outfits inspire you! I love styling myself in a variety of ways because while I have an overarching style and aesthetic, I do also try to experiment with what I wear and I feel like my overall aesthetic is always evolving.
