Casual Outfits of the Week

You guys I officially moved this week! I cannot believe I’m out on my own again it still feels surreal!! With that in mind, I have a lot of moving and packing friendly outfits that are perfect for my midsize girls. Also these looks are ideal for early fall when its still a bit warm out! Now, keep on reading to see what I wore.

Yoga Pants Outfit

To kick off the week I broke out my yoga pants or flared leggings as the kids call them. I think they’re the perfect fall pant, they are black, comfortable and go nicely with sweaters or sweatshirts. Since its still fairly warm where I am, I just styled mine with a fitted tank which also works since its loose with tight. It would also translate well into a cooler situation just by adding a cardigan or zip up!

Dr Marten Outfit

Before I moved I made sure to do one final photoshoot in my hometown. There is something bittersweet about moving away from what you know even if it’s to a place you’re comfortable at. For me, I always knew Olympia was a temporary situation but I have a ton of friends from childhood still there and these last 8 months were very transformative for me. On top of it all I moved less than two weeks of finding out I would be moving and I still can barely wrap my head around it!

Nonetheless I wore a casual fall outfit that would work for coffee dates, pumpkin picking or just for drinks with friends. To stay warm, add a blazer or cardigan but I love outfits like this that are incredibly simple with tanks and denim!

Packing Outfit

A fun fact about me is that I am a huge procrastinator! I love waiting until the last minute to do anything and this of course applied to packing. With that in mind, I wore a DIY Lululemon jumpsuit which is a matching align tank and leggings. If you pull the tank down they are virtually identical! Of course if you wanted to wear this out I would add a sweatshirt of some sort or a denim jacket with sneakers. It’s a comfortable way to get the look, plus you don’t have to worry about the downsides of a jumpsuit!

Moving Day Outfit

For the actual moving day, I wore my favorite biker shorts and a simple ribbed tank top. I was sweating like nobody’s business getting my items packed up and less was certainly more that day. If you wanted to take this look to dinner or something, consider adding a band tee or big sweatshirt over top. This trick would also work well for the gym!

Band Tee Vibes

Our first mirror selfie at the new place!! I wore this comfy look for celebratory drinks with friends and I was in love with the vibe. See, the last time I lived in Spokane I would dress a bit more promiscuous for the bars but now that I’m in my mid twenties comfort is really the key. Of course you can make this a bit sexier with a bodysuit or skinnier pants but this outfit was a mood and I will wear it again for sure!

Everyday Outfits of the Week

Thank you so much for reading and joining me on this crazy journey! I love sharing my daily outfit ideas and I hope that as I settle in my outfits will get a bit more exciting and varied. I am tickled pink to be back in a city that offers a ton of culture. From the theater to sporting events and great night life, I can only imagine what I’ll be sharing down the road!

For more outfit ideas, be sure to follow this blog and check me out on Instagram and TikTok. I share daily midsize friendly outfits as a size 10/12 woman that tend to be affordable. Style doesn’t have a certain price point nor size and I think we should embrace that!

Until next time,
