Outfit Round Up for May
Middle of May Outfits
I have really fallen in love with these weekly outfit posts! This past week was particularly special because we celebrated my second year as a content creator. In the past, I was terrible about sticking to projects and I was notorious for giving up on things I was trying to do. Now I am consistent with my work and growing every day! I’m seriously excited to see what is next for me and I can’t wait to take you on the journey. For now, let’s see what I wore this week!
Monday Outfit 05/17
Monday’s outfit was probably my favorite this week. I’ve been obsessed with this shacket ever since I got it and have been wearing it on repeat. It’s the perfect third layer for work and the material is incredibly soft. I also like it paired down with leggings and a tee. It’s so casual yet elevated for any sort of adventure! Truly the best look to kick off a week.
Tuesday Outfit 05/18
This was another fun outfit I actually took a few weeks prior! I wore this outfit for a girls night where we ended up babysitting my friend Lily’s nephews for a few. I held the baby that night and he spit up all over me, getting my brand new jeans dirty. To any parents reading this, props to you!! I was not thrilled to be spat up on but the jeans washed well and are so soft. If you’re new to Levi’s, I recommend giving this pair a shot.
Wednesday Outfit 05/19
This photo is incredibly special to me because it’s from my blogs second birthday photoshoot! My community picked this dress for me to wear for the pictures and I was just beaming with pride. I am so proud of myself for sticking with content creation and allowing myself to grow and evolve as a little blogger. Even writing this post is almost surreal because I am keeping up with this mini series on outfits! As I continue to grow and elevate my work, I get so excited for my future here and am blown away by the success I’m already having. Here’s to two more years!
Thursday Outfit 05/20
This outfit I was a little different for me since it’s a white dress but I love how it all came together. I initially thought I would style it casually but I ended up loving it more dressed up with a western twist. I think the key to this look is the booties and nonchalant attitude. Little basics like this dress are perfect for the warmer months and I can’t wait to wear this more!
Sunday Outfit 05/23
While I wasn’t able to wear this outfit for long, I did love it! Matching sets are my loungewear go to and I find them to be so comfortable. This one in particular is from Target and is super affordable. My favorite part of these pieces is their sizing; each item is perfectly relaxed at their true size. I think this is fantastic together or you could easily wear them apart and still look comfortably chic.
Outfit Round Up
I hope this post provided some outfit inspiration going into this new week! I love mixing up my wardrobe with fancier pieces alongside casual items. Each outfit I do, I try and dress down fancy items while dressing up casual pieces. I think this creates balance and makes for the most interesting outfits.
