Who is ready for another week of midsize and budget friendly outfit ideas? Featuring some athliesure, casual style, and swimwear, this week really has it all. I also was rather busy this past week experimenting with my personal style and having fun with a lot of basics. To see what I wore, keep reading!
Black Bikini Outfit
Kicking off the week was the Fourth of July. Since I wasn’t feeling all that patriotic this year, I decided to go with a black bikini. I found this one from Aerie and I find it to be rather comfortable! I went with my true size on top and sized up in the bottoms since it was a mix and match swimsuit. Overall I’m really glad I got this swimsuit it was comfortable for hours in the hot tub and I found it to fit me fabulously!!
Brown Bodysuit Outfit
I have had this brown bodysuit from Skims for over a year now and I think its adorable for summer! If you are a paler woman like myself, this rich brown looks great and adds a nice contrast. I also paired it with distressed mom jeans and a tan sandal. While it looks great in the daytime, I also love this bodysuit for nighttime because it pairs nicely with unique denim and skirts. Overall a solid wardrobe staple in my book!
Floral Mini Skirt Outfit
While I love shopping and trying on all sorts of outfits, I do enjoy restyling older pieces in my wardrobe. Take for example this casual outfit with a mini skirt I got a few years ago from Amazon. While some may think that budget friendly garments are only good for a few months, I like to rewear clothes as much as I can and restyle them in different ways over the years. Honestly if you take care of your clothes and keep things clean, you can have them season after season which is such a win to me.
Band Tee Outfit
Is it a Lauren post if we don’t mention a band tee? I don’t think so! I recently got this stunning psychedelic graphic from Urban Outfitters and I am already obsessed. I find the colors to be gorgeous and I wore it as a Pinterest outfit recreation on a midsize girl. For summer, I like wearing oversized tees like this with biker shorts and a simple sandal. Another great option is with a mini skirt or jeans. Either way, if you like music you will like this top!
Shopping Day Outfit
Finally to end the week I wore a basic outfit to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I knew I wanted to be comfortable trying on new clothes and shopping around so I went with a simple black tank from Amazon and my good ol’ Levi’s jeans. I also added my beloved Gucci Marmont because while it’s not ideal, people that wear designer garments and accessories do get treated better at department stores. Thus, I made sure to look my best while remaining true to my personal style.
