Ah yes, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is back again! Over the last 5 years, I have worked the sale as a women’s fashion expert and now I come to you as a full time content creator!! I know all the best deals and which pieces you should stock up on. Plus, I’ve sold and worn almost everything recommended below so you can trust me on this.
Before we dive in, let’s have a refresher on the shopping days. It goes as follows…

Nordstrom Fashion Favorites
Spanx Leather Leggings
One of my all time favorite Anniversary finds are the Spanx leather leggings! I wear them all the time in the fall and winter, they are incredibly comfortable and go with so many outfits. I usually style mine with graphic tees and bodysuits but you can wear them with whatever. As a pro tip, go with your true size. They aren’t as tight as people say they are and if you size up, you run the risk of the top rolling down which is not a vibe!
Chantelle Panties
My next favorite fashion find from the sale are Chantelle panties. They go 3 for $45 and they are incredibly comfortable. Over the years I have tried their hipsters, bikinis, and thongs and tend to opt for hipsters and thongs at this point in my life. Coming in fun colors and basics, they are my go-tos and I sold so many when I was working!
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan
If you work in an office or you just like to be comfortable, I recommend trying out the Barefoot Dreams cardigans. They are like butter on your arms and I wore mine all the time at my last job. I personally recommend the simple black one but any option is cute. It’s also great for travel so bring it on your next flight!
Moonlight Pajamas
My go to travel pajamas are definitely this pair from Nordstroms own brand! They are incredibly soft and so easy to pack. Coming in a few colors, they are a classic take on loungewear. If you’re like me, go for the shorts and tee combo since they’re lightweight and keep you cool at night. I also love the black option but I’m biased since it’s my favorite color.
Open Edit Slip Dress
As to some pieces I don’t personally have yet, I really am loving this midi dress from Nordstroms newer brand Open Edit. I like how they’ve begun adding a few end of summer items to the sale, it feels much more current this way! I think I may pick this piece up since I’m headed on family vacation next month. I feel like slip dresses are so current and fun, I’m excited to play around with this option!
Pistola Grover Jumpsuit
Okay funnily enough I actually have this jumpsuit already in white! I got it over the summer and have worn it on a trip and for a dinner. This grey version on sale is so cute and I am pleasantly surprised with the fit. I’d say it runs true to size and is super easy to dress up and down. Honestly I wish I got something like this sooner!
Zella Flare Leggings
I got these leggings awhile back and absolutely love them! They remind me of my beloved yoga pants from middle school but since these are all black they are a bit chicer. In the fall especially I love wearing these with a sweatshirt and platform sneakers. You can always lounge in them too, I find myself doing that often!
Madewell Straight Leg Jeans
Our final fashion find is a pair of straight leg jeans from Madewell. I love their denim, my go-to skinny jeans are from them and they have worn and washed rather well. For fall and winter, I love a wider leg and since these are mainly cotton they are going to be nice and sturdy with a variety of tops. Sweaters in particular are going to be great with these!

Hoff Sneakers
While Hoff is a new brand to me, I love how chunky their sneakers are! This pair is definitely in my wish list, they are unlike any shoe I own and as a big sneaker head, I can see these heavy in my daily rotation. They remind me of something from New Balance but these have more personality. Overall super excited to get my hands on a pair!
Converse Platform Sneakers
I personally own a similar version of these shoes from Nordstrom and I wear them all the time. I love the platform and they are my first pair of high top sneakers! They go with a surprisingly wide arrange of outfits, I dress them down with jeans and tees but I will also wear them with dresses or even my jumpsuit. I swear you can’t go wrong with a white sneaker, they will always be a classic.
Dolce Vita Cowboy Boots
I am a huge cowboy boot girl! I think they are so comfortable and they go with a surprisingly large array of clothes. Whether you are headed to a country concert or just looking for a fun boot to spice up your jeans, I think cowboy boots are the perfect solution. If I didn’t get the pair I already have, I would have definitely got this pair because they’re a steal!
Nordstrom Beauty Favorites
T3 Micro Curling Iron
I just got the T3 curling iron and I really enjoy it! I started using their hair tools a few months back and find them to be both user friendly and good for my hair. While mine is a set of 3 irons, this single curler is still a great basic for any collection.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Set
I got into the Pillow Talk hype earlier this year through the lip pencil and I am itching to get the lipstick now that its on sale. I find this color to be really beautiful and the formula of the pencil at least is really nice. It’s great for a special night out or for everyday. I’m a fan!!
Stila Eyeliner
This is my all time favorite eyeliner! It applies easier than any other brand and it stays all day without budging. I actually first heard about it from my fellow Nordstrom sales associates so you know its good. Also with this two pack you will have eyeliner for years, it does not run out easily!
Kiehl’s Facial Oil
Our final find is the Kiehl’s face oil. I recently started working with the brand as a creator and I am so thrilled with their retinol. Thus, I’m sure their oil is just as good. Plus, a high quality brand like this on sale is so exciting! It’s also a pinch me moment of sorts, realizing I was working the sale last year (miserable might I add) and now working from home in my dream job. It’s pretty surreal what a year can do!
