Midsize Outfits of the Week
This mid July, I had a fun week filled with the fair and a long weekend trip to Eastern Washington! Since summer is finally in full swing, I wore a lot of tanks and shorts to combat all the heat. I also spent some time in the water so expect to see some swim options! Without further ado, keep reading to see what I wore!
Casual Athleisure Outfit
My first outfit of the week features my new tank from Nordstrom and the anniversary sale! It’s a Free People Movement piece and I love that its a simple light blue color. I also really enjoy its v-neck, I think it makes the top more casual and wearable for everyday instead of just the gym. To stay casual, I added my biker shorts and could finish off the look with a good ol’ sneaker.
Black and White Outfit
My next outfit was perfect for running errands! I loved how everything was from Amazon and rather comfortable for the heat. I also just enjoy the bodysuit overall, it has a nice square neckline and is a thong bottom. Since its a ribbed material, it looks casual enough for everyday but it still feels elevated compared to some outfit options.
Graphic Tee Outfit for the Fair
At the weeks halfway point, I wore this fun outfit to my local fair! It’s an oversized band tee (it’s actually an Elton John shirt!) paired with my favorite high waisted dad shorts. To keep the outfit more casual and perfect for walking around outside, I added my go-to high top Converse sneakers. I really love how monochrome this outfit turned out and I definitely will have to wear an iteration of this again soon.
Mini Skirt Outfit
My first travel day outfit was this fun skirt and bodysuit pairing! I love floral mini skirts in the summer and since I was driving awhile I was glad to be in something comfortable. I also added some high top sneakers to keep the outfit casual and added my favorite bum bag. Alongside traveling in this dress, I also had a date later on so this was the ideal day to night look that made me feel cute and confident.
Color Block Swimsuit
As my trip continued, I found myself at the beach and of course had to pack my new favorite bikini! It was budget friendly at less than $30 and while it wasn’t super high waisted like most of my swimsuits, I still felt cute and confident in it. I also really enjoyed the color blocking, it was a bit different from what I normally wear and I think it’s a fun trend for summer 2022!
Colorful Going Out Outfit
Our final outfit is a bit out of my comfort zone but I am oddly obsessed with these orange pants! I saw them at Nordstrom when I went in for the sale and had to pick up a pair for myself. I found them to be perfect for a night out (even if I did fall and get them dirty). To let the jeans do the talking, go with simple accessories like I did. It’s an easy trick to styling a statement piece!
