Midsize Friendly Outfit of the Week

As June came to a close and July started back up, it was time to break out my summer outfits! From dresses to denim to workout looks, this week really had it all. As always, the majority of my looks are budget and midsize friendly! On this page I never want someone to feel as though they cannot be fashionable if they don’t spend a ton nor are a certain size. Clothing is a personal expression and should always be fun! Now, lets get into the outfits.

Business Casual Outfit

At the start of the week, I had a zoom interview. I always like to dress up for business events so I went with this blazer I’ve had for some time and paired it over a simple black dress. While this outfit would look better with a belt, I just wanted something comfortable and presentable for the camera.

Pro Tip: Consider investing in a fun blazer! I think they make the work day that much more fun and they can brighten up a stale professional wardrobe. Of course tailor this to whatever profession you are in but if you can get creative with your workwear, I say go for it!

Golf Girl Outfit

My only real hobby these days is golfing! While I don’t have the stereotypical golf wardrobe, I do love me some activewear. Thus I tried out my latest workout top from Abercrombie on a recent golf outing. It was so comfortable and has a built in bra, what a win win! If you get one for yourself, do be sure to size up it is a bit snug but perfect for any active day!

Platform Sandal Outfit

I found these platform sandals at my local Walmart for only $12!! Coming in several colors I had to pick up the blue option because they were a little different from my usual shoes. Now, if you are looking into these sandals (which I would if I were you, they’re a Free People dupe), I would recommend getting the wide option. The narrow version is really small and wouldn’t be comfortable for most people. I found the wide ones to be comfy and easy to walk in considering the height. They are definitely going to be high in my summer rotation!

Nature Walk Outfit

I absolutely love hot girl walks and I try to go on them a few times a week with friends. For a recent walk, I wore an all black outfit featuring a new brami. Its a Free People Movement find and my second color! I find them to be incredibly comfortable and I don’t really wear anything underneath them.

Pro Tip: Feel free to wear this top with denim or skirts! Since it’s a ribbed material it doubles as both activewear and everyday attire. Nothing beats that in the summer!!

Brunch Babe Outfit

To end the week I wore a fun red dress to brunch with a high school friend. I don’t typically wear voluminous trapeze dresses but this color was so fun and the tiers were cute for the warmer weather. It’s also a bit of a staple in my opinion, you can dress this piece up with boots or make it casual with sneakers like I did. Plus, since it’s voluminous, you can eat a bunch while wearing it and not notice a difference.
