Start of April Outfit Ideas

What I Wore in Early April

This past week was rather mellow filled with errands and lots of projects at home. I did lean into my spring style halfway through the week at a mermaid festival but everything else was rather boring. Since I’m headed out of town next week, I wanted to keep things simple and wore a lot of casual outfits. From activewear to denim this week has a lot of great neutral looks for you!

Coffee Shop Outfit

My first outfit of the week was a rather simple look from Amazon! I got in this comfortable sweatshirt not too long ago and I love it with leggings and sneakers. For a little pop, I wore a black bralette underneath although something colorful would look equally as good for the spring. If you work from home or on the computer a lot, give lightweight shirts like this a try they are so comfortable!

Neutral Workout Look

One garment I have loved the last six months is my crewneck from Adidas! I picked it up one day when shopping at Nordstrom and I keep it in heavy rotation. For a walk around my area, I paired it with my favorite align joggers and a neutral sneaker. I love outfits like this for errands and super casual days! Sometimes simplistic outfits are the best.

Dress and Jacket for Spring

Halfway through the week I decided to take myself on a day date to a winery for a mermaid festival! I wore one of my springtime favorites, a fitted dress and an oversized jacket. This outfit works so well because there is balance, do something tighter on the bottom and loose on top. To make the outfit more casual and practical for travel, I added my favorite Converse and accessorized with a crossbody and a cute hair scarf.

Nature Walk Outfit

One of my favorite activities each week now is going on nature walks in my city! We have a lot of great trails nearby and this time I went to a personal favorite Tumwater Falls. For the adventure I wore my same joggers from the other day and styled them again with a waffle knit hoodie and simple white sneakers. To mix up the look, I added my favorite belt bag and oversized sunglasses. Sometimes it’s the accessories that truly add personality to an outfit.

Spring Neutrals

One spring trend I’m loving is 90s denim! To stay on trend and appropriate for the season, go with a light wash or even white like I have. I recommend styling it with a more fitted top and for warmth another loose jacket. To keep this look casual, I stuck with light neutrals and added some white sneakers. Some days monochrome is the way to go and I love it!

Have a Great Week

I hope these outfits inspire your next weeks worth of looks! I love documenting my outfits and playing around with my personal style. While a lot of us tend to think of style looking a particular way, I like expanding my wardrobe and stylistic abilities! Nowadays I’m always trying to play around with outfits for particular occasions and pushing the limits of my fashion comfort zone! I encourage you to do the same and tag me if you try a look above!

Until next time,

Lauren
