Tourist Friendly Outfit Ideas

End of February Outfits of the week

This week was warm then freezing with a last minute snow storm! I ended up working from home a lot but the weekend brought about a girls adventure as my good friend stayed with me for a few days. We ended up going to a comedy show and I even got to be a tourist in my own city! To see all the outfits I wore, keep on reading.

Workout Set Outfit

Our first outfit of the week was a very comfortable workout set from Amazon! I love activewear, especially on errands days like that one. This set is super fun for every day and for the gym, it has cute ruffles on the bum to accentuate your figure! I thought it gave me a butt lift without having to do much myself, what a win.

Pro tip: with this set, be sure to size up one or two sizes. The brand runs a bit small but the pieces are legitimately comfortable and thick.

Casual Workout Outfit

The next evening I went to my actual gym and did a little workout in some other activewear I just love. For added warmth I wore my favorite puffer jacket and underneath I wore my Abercrombie activewear with Lululemon leggings. I’ll be honest I regret wearing a long sleeve to the gym it was a bit too warm for me but if you are doing a workout outside, this would be an excellent layering piece since it is fitted an a basic.

Fancy Date Night Outfit

Toward the end of the week, I went out on the fanciest date of my life! I’ve started dating a lawyer and he took me to this gorgeous steakhouse here in Spokane. To dress for the occasion, I wore my favorite slip dress with a long tan coat, my favorite handbag, and some brown booties. The key to an outfit like this is tonal dressing and keeping the outfit in the same color palette/color family. Plus I felt gorgeous in the nice restaurant so that is always a plus!

City Tourist Outfit

By the time the weekend rolled around, it was time to wear some comfortable walking clothes. Granted this outfit wasn’t exactly the warmest outfit for the colder temperatures but it was still cute and easy to explore in. I have absolutely loved long coats this winter with basic tops and fun jeans. It’s a great way to mix elegance with everyday and it makes for a cool outfit overall. As an added bonus, I accessorized with a trendy sleek sneaker and my favorite pair of round sunglasses.

Comedy Show Outfit

Our final outfit of the week was the perfect outfit to wear to a comedy show! I took the same distressed jeans as before and styled them with a corset inspired tank and another long coat. Nothing beats a cute top and jeans for girls night, especially when paired with cute booties. This outfit also worked pretty well for the bars afterwards, the only thing I would change if I were to actually party is wear more of a cropped jacket rather than a coat.

Have a Fashionable WEek

I hope these outfit ideas continue to inspire you! Whether you are traveling around the country this week or heading to a show with friends, this post really has it all. When it comes to fashion, the key is to wear what you’re most comfortable in and less is genuinely more. I find my favorite outfits to be comprised of basics with a hint here and there of a statement garment or accessory.
