Stylish Foodie Outfit Ideas

Early March outfit ideas

This week was an absolute treat! Not only was it restaurant week here in Spokane, but I had another viral video and watched my page explode to over 50,000 people on Instagram! I am still in shock that this happened to me, I genuinely cannot believe it. With that growth has come a personal revival to style the best possible outfits for you guys so keep reading to see what I wore this week.

Business Casual Outfit

To kick off the week I wore this fun business casual outfit for some meetings and a nice dinner with friends. It ended up being a 12 hour day for me which I don’t tend to do anymore as a creator so I certainly needed something comfortable. Nonetheless I wore a simple tee from Abercrombie which every girl should own, my new favorite long trousers from Swank Boutique and white sneakers. This outfit worked well because the tee is a bit boxy and the pants are super long and wide. I also liked the white sneakers because they harken back to the top and were great for walking around. Finally I added my tan long coat and a nude handbag to finish up the outfit. I always love an outfit that coordinates and when you get enough neutrals together you have a solid look!

Basketball game outfit

By hump day I was lucky enough to go to a Gonzaga basketball game in the kennel and I am still pinching myself! It was so fun to be back in person and it was a thrilling challenge figuring out what to wear to a sporting event as a post graduate instead of a student. For the evening I wore denim on denim which is one of my favorite trends this spring. This all denim look works well because the colors are similar and both pieces of denim are on the oversized side. Now, if I just wore the baggy pieces of denim this outfit would look weird. I avoided this issue with a fitted white tank that broke the look up and topped it off with sneakers. For the game, I also wore a red baseball cap and clear handbag. These simple accessories really came together and I’m thrilled with the final outcome!

Winter workwear

Later on in the week, I had a coffee chat with an old classmate so I wanted to look professional to an extent while also being true to my personal style. Hence the nice long coat for the winter weather paired with a simple graphic tee and jeans. I also added a simple white Chelsea boot that really completed the look.

Now, the reason why this outfit works so well is the cohesion of color and the tucking of the tee. I like to wear outfits in certain color families so that day was focused on various shades of blue and cream. You definitely get a pop with the pink in the shirt but overall I really focused on the cool tones. Alongside the colors I think this outfit works because I tucked in my tee. This gave me an hourglass shape and kept the pants and top from being too bulky together.

Fancy Dinner Outfit

Toward the end of the week we had restaurant week going on so I went to Wiley’s Bistro with my sister. My word was the food phenomenal, I got the short ribs and they were a game changer. Nonetheless, I decided to break out my new corset top for dinner alongside an oversized blazer and light wash jeans. I really love corsets and lace this spring, the feminine details pair well with the trending borrowed from the boys aesthetic as well as oversized denim. To complete this look, I went with my favorite snake print ankle booties. I like how they have a western flair while still being fairly neutral.

Casual Work outfit

My final outfit of the week was the perfect cozy outfit to work from home in. I had a very leisurely morning that day and wanted to wear something comfortable for the afternoon. Hence the sweatpants outfit! I love this pair from Abercrombie, they are a jogger style and fit like a dream. They go great with basic tops which is why I added this ribbed tank from Free People. Black and white will always be my favorite combo so this outfit was right up my alley. To complete the look, I added my favorite denim jacket and some short booties. Since everything is a neutral it all matches!
