For the longest time, I have dreamt of visiting all 50 states! I am a self proclaimed travel addict who will take any adventure thrown her way. When a weekend opened up to travel once more, I took the opportunity and went!

A few years back, I was told of Flathead lake and some of the magic of Montana. I’m not the most outdoorsy person there ever were, but I do like a good adventure, especially one that features a road trip! For this trip, we skipped Flathead and went to Missoula, a town in Western Montana. I must say I was pretty excited. The whole vibe of the city was so hip and cool, plus the food was INSANE.

For our first night, we went to dinner at Tamarack. I had the craziest BBQ onion burger and I could not even finish my dish!! After we ate, we made our way to the bars and fell in love with Bodega. They have the coolest basketball court INSIDE the bar and the patrons were super chill. We also popped into Reds and had some nice drinks, but Bodega was for sure the favorite.

After our trip to the bar, we went back to our cute lil airbnb to sleep. We stayed in a cozy, private suite just outside of downtown. Since I had my car, transportation wasn’t too much of an issue! The place was clean and we slept wonderfully that night.

The next morning was thrilling, we went out for brunch!! We tried out Catalyst and I actually fell in love. Again, I couldn’t finish my meal, but I was extremely impressed with the quick wait time and overall fresh meal. Once we finished eating, we walked through downtown and met Sasquatch!! I thought this detail was too fun and I felt one with Missoula as soon as I was there.

No purer joy than meeting Bigfoot

Although our trip was not terribly long (stupid storm!), I feel like we got a great taste of Missoula!! If I can, I would 100% visit again 😍

XOXO,

Lauren
