5 Valentine's Day Outfits for 2025

5 Galentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day Outfits

I was planning for this to be a happy blog post filled with excitement and joy for my first Valentine’s Day with a boyfriend but life had different plans for me. Unfortunately my longtime boyfriend broke up with me on Monday a few weeks before Valentine’s Day and let’s just say I am bitter! I was looking forward to finally celebrating Valentine’s Day with a boyfriend after 27 years alone but alas God has other plans for me. Nonetheless I have this content ready to go so please enjoy these outfits. I personally will still be celebrating Galentine’s Day with Gals Need Pals and some single friends so not all is lost. I’m just frustrated and heartbroken that I yet again don’t have a special someone.

Cozy Office Appropriate Valentine’s Day Outfit

Our first outfit is for the corporate girlies that want to feel festive yet stylish on Valentine’s Day! This holiday is on a Friday and I know I will be working a bit that day so business casual is definitely going to be my vibe. I actually have an interview this day so I will be leaning more professional anyhow! Since this outfit features jeans, think of this as an elevated casual Friday look. The key to this outfit is the pop of red peeking out from the tank. It makes the outfit visually more interesting and breaks up all of the black and white.

Pro Tip: for an outfit like this, consider a sweater with a wider neck line. This allows for more of the tank to be seen and it makes the overall outfit a bit more fun! I wish more of the red was visible in this outfit but what can you do.

Fancy Date Night Outfit

Last summer I picked up this fabulous fur coat at a thrift expo in Spokane and I am so glad I snagged it! It’s gorgeous, vintage and I believe faux fur. I’ve been meaning to dress it down with jeans and a tee but it’s perfect for dressing up if you’re going on a nice date night. I recommend going all in with a more formal dress and elevated shoes should you be going to a play, fancy dinner or expensive night out. Nothing beats an excuse to dress up and have fun with your wardrobe. It makes me feel so confident and it’s always nice to be confident on a date night.

Pro Tip: I recommend looking for fur secondhand if you can. It’s cheaper than buying real fur and it looks better than the faux alternatives we are seeing across social media. I also think its great for fall and winter. I have worn mine to many events over the last few months and it keeps me fairly warm! If you’re lucky enough to go on a nice date for Valentine’s Day, I say go all out!

Edgy Galentine’s Day Outfit

Now that it’s been established that I won’t be celebrating the actual holiday of Valentine’s Day, I am thrilled to celebrate Galentine’s Day this year with my women only social group Gals Need Pals. We are doing a clay event in Seattle and a wine night in Spokane. For something like this, I think you can get a bit more creative and opt for a more unique outfit like this lace top outfit. If you add a blazer, you might get away with this for the office but for girls night I think this is great because it’s a little sexy and super fun! For a night out, I would style this with a leather jacket and call it a day.

Pro Tip: consider snagging a statement top like this in a fun color! I love how this is bright pink. It’s definitely unlike anything else I own and it adds a great personality to any outfit. You can either keep the look simple with all black or go crazy and add extra pink or even blue or red!

Matching Pajama Set

If you are staying in this Valentine’s Day, I would recommend wearing a pajama set to celebrate. It’s super cutesy and comfortable which if you’re also grieving you cannot go wrong there. This pajama set is always on sale at Amazon and it’s one of my favorites. I wear these all the time and always pack them for trips. They’ve been awesome for my getaways this past year and they’d be perfect for a chill Galentine’s. Should you feel spicy this Valentine’s Day, substitute this set for something a bit sexier to surprise your man.

Cozy Romantic Valentine’s Day Outfit

I saved my favorite Valentine’s Day outfit for last, this fun layered knit look! I plan to wear this outfit to my Galentine’s Day party in Spokane for Gals Need Pals. To recreate, you just need a simple pink knit dress and an oversized pink sweater to go on top. The key here is to get contrasting shades to make the outfit more interesting. It’s also a great way to rewear perhaps a summer dress for the colder weather. I wore a similar version of this outfit over the summer without the sweater to a concert. This version is a bit more chill and still super cute!

Happy Valentine’s Day

Although I will not be in the greatest of spirits this Valentine’s Day, I will always appreciate a themed outfit. I hope these looks inspire your upcoming plans so you feel cute and confident with your friends. To see more fashion inspiration, be sure to follow me on Instagram and TikTok. I’ll be sure to share my Valentine’s Day plans as a single woman over there too!

Until next time,
