5 Valentine's Day Outfits for Midsize Women

Last Minute Valentine’s day outfits

Valentine’s Day is almost here so it’s time to figure out what we are wearing! While Valentine’s Day isn’t my favorite holiday, I do enjoy celebrating Galentine’s day and dressing up in all things pink and red. In 2023, pink is certainly becoming a trending color so expect a lot of it in this post. To see my top 5 outfits on a midsize frame, keep on reading!

Pink selkie lookalike Mini Dress

I am seriously obsessed with this dress! I got it last year actually and have felt like a princess evert time I have it on. It’s also the dress I’ve gotten the most compliments on from men so take that as you will. Coming in several colors, this Selkie lookalike is perfect for any Valentine’s Day related events. I would totally wear this to a nice dinner or for a party with my girls. It also comes in a bunch of colors and would work well for any brides to be. May have recommended the white one to some friends getting married!

Pink Satin Mini Dress

Okay if I go out for Valentine’s Day this year, this is definitely the dress I will be wearing! I love anything satin and the shorter length is so cute. For a dress like this, I recommend giving it a borrowed from the boys flair by adding a denim jacket and even sneakers. It’s so feminine and flirty and would be perfect for a new couple or someone looking to spice things up. Corset top

I told you it will be a lot of pink! I have been loving the bubblegum pink trend, I think it’s very wearable and easy to dress up or down. Now, this top does come in other colors but I find this lighter pink to be perfect for Valentine’s Day. It has some great smocking in the back and with the adjustable straps, you can get your ideal fit. I would totally wear this to drinks with the girls by adding some leather or dress it down for a casual date night.

Heart Blouse

For something a bit more on the nose and featuring some red, I found the cutest heart sleeve blouse from NanaMacs. I really like how this top is smocked at the bodice, I find it to be so comfortable and easy to style. You could go edgy with leather or you can be casual with some light wash jeans and a sneaker. I will actually be wearing this to an upcoming Galentine’s Day event and I think it will be perfection!

Anti Valentine’s Day Graphic

Finally we have something for the girls that hate Valentine’s Day! I was recently broken up with so this graphic sweatshirt was an absolute must for me and my wardrobe. I love the tie dye in particular and the suckers themselves are so fun. If your riveting Valentine plans include sitting at home eating ice cream, at least do it in something comfortable like this sweatshirt.

Pro tip; when styling big crew necks like this one, wear a simple fitted bottom. Great options are leggings or catsuits that balance out the loose nature of the sweatshirt.

Happy Valentine’s Day

I hope you have a lovely Valentine’s Day! Regardless of your plans, I hope these outfits inspire your shopping and styling.
