Las Vegas Outfits of the Week

What I Wore to Vegas in March

Guess who went back to Vegas! I did!! I went this past week for the WCC and PAC-12 tournaments as well as just celebrating my baby sister. Around this time each year, I have a habit of visiting Vegas and this time around I had to get experimental with my style. Big shout out by the way to Amazon and Shein for most of these pieces, I had so much fun styling these spring trends! Keep reading to see what I wore and how you can recreate them :-)

Basketball Fashion

Fun Lauren fact, I’m actually a huge Gonzaga basketball fan! I’ve loved going to games since Freshman year and I was honored to go back to a game this past week to watch them win the WCC tournament. There is something so incredibly magical about a live Gonzaga game, us fans are a hoot and we have the best time!

Now, in a fashion sense, I had to wear something different than I normally would as a student. I went with my favorite baseball cap and a fun corset top from Amazon. I also went with some blue and white shorts and my new favorite cowboy boots. I’m really leaning into the western vibes this year and I felt like this was a more exciting twist on fan attire. If you find yourself at a basketball game one of these days, don’t be afraid to try something new like I did, you may surprise yourself!

Clubbing Outfit

To celebrate the big Gonzaga win, my sister and I went out to Omnia and had a hoot. Nothing makes me happier than dressing up and playing around with fun dresses! A black bodycon is an absolute fashion essential in my book and this dress from last year fits that bill perfectly. Now, a little Vegas pro tip. Do NOT abuse your poor feet with super high heels at the club. Instead, treat yourself to a low heel. They are far more comfortable and if you go with a nude version, you’ll still get the lengthening effect without the pain!

Cow Print Bikini

A micro trend I’m living for is anything western! For Vegas this year, I wanted to lean into my inner country girl and I did so through this fun cow print bikini. It’s in a gorgeous brown color and its ribbed which makes it comfy and casual. I had a black version last year but I think this softer color is better for spring. Just a word to the wise though, size up in this option!

Feather Tank Fashion

One of my favorite tops made another appearance here in Vegas! I had to pack my favorite feather top and it went perfectly with my cocktail. To make it more casual for a simple night out, I styled it with my favorite Levi’s wedgie jeans and a fun blue bag. With a statement top like this, remember less is more with the rest of the look!

Green and White Outfit

With St. Patricks Day almost here, I had to share a green find! I loved how light this blouse was, the minty color is perfection and it went really well with my super high waisted jeans. I feel like as soon as spring arrives, it’s time to bring out the romantic pieces along with something edgier. This oftentimes look like a square neck top that tends to work wonderfully with street style essentials like a 90s jean! To get fancier, add a heel or stay casual in Vegas with a classic sneaker.

Striped Bikini

If you visit Vegas, be sure to give yourself time at the pool! I wore this adorable bikini from Amazon. Retailing under $20, it’s so comfortable and the wider strap on top makes it easy to move in the water without feeling like your clothes aren’t moving. Another perk of this bikini? The high waist! I love high waisted bottoms, I always feel the most confident in them. If you’re also midsize, you gotta give them a try!

Cupcake Realness

Shop my Look

My final night outfit was western glam realness. I wore an Amazon outfit from the dress to the boots. This dress is a personal favorite of mine, I adore the tulle and the voluminous sleeves and skirt make me feel like a ballerina once more. To go with this dress, I actually wore my Amazon cowboy boots. I think the juxtaposition of white and pink looks so fun for spring and the taller boots are a great contract to the shorter dress.

Safe Travels

If you are also headed to Vegas in the near future, I hope these outfits inspired you! I absolutely adore Las Vegas, there is so much to do and it was the perfect place to express myself in a fashionable way. With spring nearly here and the temperatures higher than home, it was the perfect time to play with color, texture, and my overall style. For more Vegas content, come back on Wednesday for my top recommendations.

Until next time,

Lauren
