Midsize Friendly Outfits of the Week | August 2022

What I Wore the First Week of August

How is it already August?? This year is just flying on by and I cannot keep up. Nonetheless, I have another week of budget and midsize friendly outfit ideas for you. Whether you are looking for some athleisure inspiration or you want to see how to style the popular cargo pants, I have you covered! Now, keep on reading to see my looks.

Black and White Activewear

To kick off the week I wore an activewear outfit for a nature walk and to work at a local coffee shop. I wore my favorite Lululemon tank on top with some running shorts from Abercrombie. For even more practicality, I also added my go-to belt bag. It’s one of my favorite accessories and I’ve been wearing it multiple times a week the last several months.

Oversized Band Tee Outfit

The belt bag made another appearance! I styled it this time around with one of my favorite oversized band tees for an afternoon of errands. Since I was running around town, I added some biker shorts and topped off the look with dad sandals. I find this look to be incredibly practical for summer adventures and relatively comfortable as well!

Ribbed Workout Tank Outfit

On this day, I was again going out for a walk so I naturally added some activewear together. I started off with my new favorite Free People Movement tank. I really like the deep v neck and it went well with my running shorts. To keep the outfit rather active, I added some black running shoes from Amazon. Its a fairly simple look but I really liked it!

All Black Outfit

Truth be told this week I was in an Apple Watch competition with a friend which is why most of my outfits are activewear this week! I went on another walk this day so I wore yet another Free People tank and biker shorts. I feel like this outfit would be a great spring look as well with a button down over top or a denim jacket. Just add some sneakers and you’re good to go!

Kim Possible Inspired Outfit

Okay this outfit is a blast from the past but I am in love with this early 2000s inspired look! I even added a 90s hairstyle to really cement the outfit. Now, I just got in these awesome cargo pants from Abercrombie and I am in love with them! They are super lightweight and pair nicely with black accessories. For the bars, I went with a black high neck tank and black platform sandals although they would go just as well with sneakers and a tee.

Happy Summer Styling

I hope these outfits were a source of inspiration in some way! Whether they were a much needed reminder to get some movement back into your day or a kick to add a sporty edge to your personal style, I am thrilled to share these looks. I think next week I’m going to get back into my typical outfit ideas but it was fun to mix things up and wear my workout clothes more than normal. For extra outfits, be sure to follow me on Instagram and TikTok where I share up to date inspiration!!

Until next time,
