Travel Friendly Outfits of the Week | August 2022

Outfits of the Week

As summer continues on, my midsize and travel friendly outfits have been a hoot to create! Between dog-sitting and a road trip I really pushed my personal style this week. I can’t wait to share what I wore so without further ado keep reading to get inspired for your mid summer!

Nude Tank Outfit

Our first outfit of the week is a new nude color tank from Amazon! Its from one of my favorite brands Reoria and it’s fantastic quality for the price. Not only is it double lined but it’s also quite soft. Now, for a day of grocery shopping and dog sitting, I styled this tank with distressed shorts and a zip up. I also added some high top Converse sneakers for added comfort and ease of shopping. Overall it’s the perfect casual summer outfit!

Graphic Sweatshirt Outfit

On this particular day, it was actually raining! Thus, I went for a cozy sweatshirt to keep me warm. This particular graphic was purchased at the Nordstrom sale and I really love it. I also got it a size up so I could style it with biker shorts or leggings. Its surprisingly versatile and I can’t wait to wear it with denim in the truly cooler months.

Oversized Graphic Tee Outfit

For this look, I wanted to keep my new pair of denim shorts from Madewell pretty casual. I love that they are loose and a light wash, its honestly my favorite summer combo. To balance out the loose bottoms, I added an oversized band tee that I tucked in on top. I love baggy pieces paired together, they create an incredibly comfortable outfit while also adding some structure when tucked together for shape. It’s truly a fresher take on the hourglass style!

Yoga Outfit

As the weekend rolled around, it was time for Saturday morning yoga. I decided to wear my new Abercrombie workout tank since its a gorgeous brown color. Although the tank doesn’t have a matching pair of leggings, I instead paired it with my favorite black pair from Lululemon. It was quite comfortable and helped me move easily during the workout!

Travel Activewear

To end the week I headed on a road trip to eastern Washington! I wore my favorite biker shorts for the drive along with a square neck tank from Abercrombie. I was originally going to add my favorite Lululemon align tank but I spilled chocolate on it before we left! Nonetheless, shirts with built in bras are the move when sitting for hours on end. I find the overall look to be incredibly comfortable and the vibe for travel days!

Jumpsuit Outfit

This week we get a bonus outfit, my dinner look! I wore this outfit for a dinner in Spokane, it was somewhat dressy yet perfect for summertime. For summer 2022, I’ve really enjoyed lightweight pieces and wide legged bottoms like this jumpsuit. I kept the look rather simple with a pair of tan sandals and that was it. I could have added a tan bag or sunglasses but this was all I had at the time.

Travel Outfit Ideas

I hope these travel and midsize friendly outfits inspire your styling this upcoming week. Summer outfits can be difficult because it’s hard to stay cool while playing around with your personal style. I know I can struggle with it and oftentimes it leads to me wearing athleisure more often than not. Regardless, it’s still fun to document these outfits and I can’t wait to share more as I head into a vacation later this month!

Until next time,

Lauren
