12 Must-Have Amazon Finds from April 2023

It’s time for our monthly Amazon round up! This series is almost 3 years old now and is showing no signs of stopping. From activewear essentials to beauty buys my list has it all. If you have yet to hop on the Amazon bandwagon, expect to find budget friendly lifestyle products that are a great quality. I am constantly impressed with the stores selection and how much one can really get from the site. Whether you are updating your home or looking for clothing staples, Amazon has your back. Now, to see my top 10 items from the past month, keep reading!

Amazon Fashion

Green workout set

First up on the list is the cutest green workout set! I love the high waisted biker shorts and the square neck tank. They look amazing together of course but they also look amazing separated with tees, leggings and more. Cool toned colors like light green are a great shade to wear in spring and with the ribbed material of this set, you’ll be on trend as well. I’ve been noticing this texture a lot more in both activewear garments and everyday clothing.

Pro Tip: then wearing ribbed materials, consider accessorizing with simple, smooth fabrics. If you wear too many fabrics at once you are overwhelming yourself and there should never be a texture competition.

Brown Workout Jumpsuit

As great as cool toned colors are for spring, you also can’t beat a neutral like this brown jumpsuit! Now, I wear a L and it is slightly too big on top for me but if you are bustier this shouldn’t be an issue. I have styled it under sweatshirts and jackets and it’s been a total vibe for spring. Plus it’s made from the same comfortable ribbed material as the previous activewear so you know it will last! While this may not be a great item for a crazy gym workout, I would recommend this for a hot girl walk with your favorite sneakers. I’ve enjoyed it for low impact workouts and plan to wear it for errands going forward. Oh, and if you plan to travel this works well for the car!

Crop Long Sleeve top

Continuing on the activewear trend we have these adorable long sleeve crop tops from Amazon. Coming in a pack of two these shirts are rather short but incredibly comfortable. They also have a fun detail on the sleeves which are thumb holes. I don’t recommend wearing the holes at the airport because you will get searched at TSA however they are great for everyday wear.

Pro Tip: When wearing a top like this, I recommend wearing really high waisted bottoms. I usually wear super high waisted yoga pants but any sort of wide legged pant works well. This is a super fitted top and to get the most balance out of an outfit you want something big on the bottom!

Denim midi skirt

One trend I have just adored this spring is the denim midi skirt! Typically seen on conservative Christian women this trend has been revamped with a high slit in the middle. I was hesitant about this piece at first but when I tried it with the slit I was sold. You can easily style it with crop tops or bodysuits, just wear something more fitted to really dress up the garment. I personally try to make it sexy with my accessories and styling but if you’re more of a boho girl I would recommend a simple billowy blouse. Either way it’s a great spring addition to any wardrobe!

Sleeveless bodysuit

This bodysuit is one of my new favorite garments for spring! I wish I got a lighter color but the dark brown is so soft and it has a thong back with easy to close snaps. It also has a nice tank design that comes in slightly at the chest and I think it’s darling. For the price its an incredible quality and reminds me of something you would find at Nordstrom or Abercrombie. Plus it sucks you in slightly without feeling constricting. Overall a great layering garment during this crazy time of year!

Blue mini dress

Attention clubbing girls, this is the best party dress I’ve worn in awhile! I adore the corset detail and this light blue color is just gorgeous. Back in my crazy clubbing days I used to wear incredibly simplistic pieces but I like the elevated nature of this dress. Not only is it budget friendly but the quality isn’t bad at all. It also has a ruched skirt that makes your bum look incredible. Depending on your height it’s also easy to bunch the skirt up to make it a smidge shorter, this versatility is always accepted when going out!

Ribbed maxi dress

On Amazon, you can find a million and one dupes and the best one I have found recently is this ribbed maxi dress. It’s akin to the popular Skims piece but for a fraction of the price. I will say if you are a midsize girl you may want to add shape wear underneath because it’s not the most forgiving piece and will show every last curve. If that is something you aren’t comfortable with, I recommend layering a graphic tee over top or a boxy denim jacket. These little layering choices make a world of difference!

Black heeled loafers

I won’t lie, I think of these shoes as pilgrim shoes but they are a gorgeous piece for the office or a dressier occasion! I like that they have a slight heel, it’s great for longer trousers or maxi dresses. They’re also pretty comfortable to walk in and the black color goes with everything. If you enjoy the dark academia aesthetic, these are going to be a great piece for you. They’ll go well with high socks and they look expensive while remaining well under $100.

Brown Heeled Sandals

Our second shoe find is a great elevated pair of sandals for spring and summer! I love how they have a braided top akin to a picnic basket plus the low block heel is easy to wear for long periods of time. It’s also a bit of a trapezoid heel instead of the classic rectangle which feels modern and more updated than popular sandals you’ve seen the last few years. When ordering a sandal like this, consider a neutral color since it goes with so many outfits from jeans and bodysuits to shorts and blouses. I also wore them with the above jumpsuit and felt like a million bucks walking throughout the park!

Holographic cowboy hat

Our final fashion find for April is this fun holographic cowboy hat worn at a bachelorette party this past month. While a last rodeo may not be on everyones to do list this year, I found this hat to be such a vibe and it was great for keeping an eye out on the bachelorette party in Scottsdale. Not only was the hat comfortable and unique, it came in a 6 pack with one white hat for the bride. If you don’t have a wedding coming up, I think these hats would still be fun for a country bar for birthdays or other fun occasions. They weren’t terribly expensive and would even work well for a Halloween costume this fall if you wanted to go as a western alien.

Elf halo glow Foundation

Our one beauty buy of the month was the ELF Halo Glow foundation and you guys it’s as good as everyone says it is online. I love that it has a brush applicator and it really does leave the skin nice and glowing. I don’t know about you but I love when my makeup has a glow come springtime and this foundation just leaves me feeling great. Plus it wears well all day long and isn’t too heavy of coverage. That being said, it does cover up redness and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing foundation throughout the day. At less than $15 a bottle, I can easily see myself repurchasing this item!

Reusable Cooling eye pad

Our final Amazon find for the month is this cool new beauty tool! I had never heard of a product like this until the brand BaiMei sent it over and I am now hooked. It’s meant to help with sunburns and soothing irritated skin. Just keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes and apply to any sore spots. I’ve been enjoying it after the shower to de-puff my eyes and cheeks. With its double sided aluminum plates, you can use it almost like a gua shua or like an ice pack of sorts. Either way I really enjoy it especially with warm weather just around the corner!
