Top 5 Spring Trends with Rebel Hart Boutique

5 Midsize Friendly Spring Trends with Rebel Hart Boutique

Spring is in full bloom which means a new set of fashion trends to keep an eye out for! I teamed up with a local favorite Rebel Hart Boutique to share my top 5 fashion trends with you. Not only do they have gorgeous boho pieces on a budget, they also are size inclusive going up to a 3x in store and online! We don’t have a lot of Spokane clothing boutiques that offer a larger size range and as a midsize woman myself I will always support somewhere that has great options like this. Truth me told I struggled with the straight sized pants but knowing they have plus options was so encouraging! Now, to see my favorite trends for the season, keep on reading!

Oversized Graphic Tees

One of my all time favorite trends is oversized graphic tees! As we head into spring and summer, I’m finding western-inspired pieces to be the items to buy. I personally picked up this fun Coors tee that feels like a country girls dream. I’ve found graphics to be an absolute wardrobe staple that can be easily dressed up or down. For country concerts, wear this with a denim skirt, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. If you need something more casual, wear this with shorts and a pair of sneakers! The best part of this shirt is how overall neutral it is, the style possibilities are genuinely endless.

Coastal Cowgirl Outfit

Have you heard of the coastal cowgirl trend? It’s one of my new favorite trends to emerge this year because it combines my love of beach fashion with western fashion and aesthetics. The key to these outfits is lightweight dresses or basics with ruffles that you could wear in the sand with your favorite western accessories like a cowboy boot or hat. While these aesthetics may not sound like the most cohesive, they are honestly so cute together and are something I keep wearing time and time again!

Pro Tip: be sure to try the maxi dresses at Rebel Hart! They come in so many colors and prints which bring my heart so much joy! For this dress, I’m personally 5’8 and it hits just above the ankle. Now, I recommend wearing a simple strapless bra with a smocked top like this because we did have some issues with my heavy-duty bra that stuck out a bit. Next time I would do a sticky bra for a more seamless top.

Spring Florals

I know florals for spring is very basic and incredibly predictable but it’s a recurring trend for a reason! I love how the print evokes the season and when done in the trendy light blue shade like in the dress above, it still feels current to 2023. At this time of year, aim for light versions of your favorite colors and try out cooler tones like blue and purple. I love how this dress is lightweight and a v-neck style, it’ll be perfect with any shorter necklace. I will clarify that only the top buttons are functional so this is a great option if you are breast feeding however I was a little sad to learn it couldn’t double as a duster. Also if you are larger chested consider sizing up because the buttons sometimes gap at the top!

Knitwear and Linen Outfits

Our next look is sort of a two in one trend but they pair wonderfully together. This season I’m noticing a lot of outfits incorporating lightweight knits with linen pieces. Most often this is done in an outfit like the one above which is a lightweight knit tank styled with striped linen pants. This outfit works because it evokes a beachy vibe and this could easily mix and match with denim, satin or cotton. The goal is to buy neutral basics like the pieces above because they are so versatile in any wardrobe. You also may love an outfit like this if you enjoy traveling because it’s going to be easy to pack into a suitcase since it isn’t a ton of fabric overall. This would be most ideal if you are headed somewhere like Europe or the American South!

Skinny Jeans are Back

Okay controversial yet brave opinion, skinny jeans are making a comeback. I got this pair at Rebel Hart Boutique and they are so cute and comfortable! The heavy distressing is perfect for casual afternoons and they add a great texture to an outfit. If distressing isn’t your style, the boutique offers a wide array of denim styles that are a bit more classic and would even work in a more casual business environment. Jeans are a personal fashion favorite and I reach for mine year after year. Plus the brands carried are inclusive and are just great to wear all day. I haven’t noticed anything stiff which is always a big win!

Happy Shopping

I hope these tips and outfits inspire your spring wardrobe! A huge thank you to Rebel Hart Boutique for the beautiful size inclusive pieces that are perfect for my midsize girls. Whether you are more country or a boho girly, their boutique has a little bit of everything for any personal style. Plus with an affordable price point it’s easy to access their boutique quality and shopping experience without breaking the bank. It really doesn’t get better than that!
