San Diego Outfits of the Week

This week was incredibly travel heavy for me! Not only was I traveling back from Spokane, WA at the start of the week, but I went to San Diego for the first time at the end of the week! If you have any end of summer vacations planned, this is a great post for you. I have everything from dressy looks to beach and airport outfits. To see what I wore, keep on reading!

Girly Summer Outfit

Prior to leaving for California, I did wear this cute girly outfit for the nail salon. I wanted to elevate my typical denim shorts style so I added a cropped white blouse. This would work with any feminine top in any color but you know me, I opted for neutrals. To keep the outfit fairly simplistic, I added a tan bag and brown sandals. Less is always more and this would’ve been cute for my vacation as well as just for a summer day out!

Airport Outfit

Now for my travel outfit! We are kicking things off with my airport look. I went with my new Abercrombie sweatshirt and I just wore a workout tank and biker shorts underneath. I recommend wearing thicker items like a sweatshirt on the plane when traveling because it frees up space in your suitcase. It’s also just cozy for the flight, those planes can get chilly!

Colorful Bikini

I call this bikini my earth swimsuit because the colors look like our planet! It’s a bit of a different swimsuit style for me but I think it’s a vibe for sunbathing. I like this swimsuit in particular for vacation because it does have a halter strap for swimming but it easily comes off to tan. It also features a high waisted bottom which I find to be more comfortable than low rise options. Overall its a win-win from me!

Balboa Park Outfit

If you are headed to San Diego, be sure to visit Balboa Park! They had fabulous museums throughout the grounds and if I went just for content I could have easily brought 4-5 outfits and taken a ton of great photos. This time I just went with family so I stuck to a simple outfit. My go-to these days is a white crop tank, distressed jeans, and white sneakers. These light basics are ideal for the warmer weather and just look chic to me!

Nature Walk Outfit

My final outfit was perfect for an afternoon at a nature walk. We hiked up Point Loma and explored a nearby beach. When spending the day outside, I will always advocate for moveable basics. I went with a simple ribbed tank and loose running shorts, both of which were ideal for climbing and walking. If this walk was more strenuous, this outfit would have also been great because I had full range of motion AND it didn’t take up much room in my suitcase.

Safe Travels

I hope these travel friendly outfits inspire your next adventure! I personally love going on vacations and exploring the world. Travel makes me so happy and coming up with outfits for my various trips is a beloved past time. For more outfits and up to date content, be sure to follow me on Instagram and TikTok.
